I wonder what Joker's reaction would've been had EDI taken control of a YMIR

I wonder what Shep's reaction would be if Tali got more interested in him as he got more space credits and sent them to her fleet. :P

Well there you go.

It's funny, I consider a guy wearing something like this is more "eew" than any kind of "sexy".

That's why they didn't strap him with high-heel shoes. Because what works for women, might not work for men.

Well he does. Go and see pictures of athletic men, they have really minimal hips. Their bodies literaly go like "Y".

OFCOURSE, there are exceptions but there are a lot of men who have these minimal hips.

Kaidan, Shepard, and Vega have hips. Jacob doesn't.

Not sexy.

He has hips. But as you said, minimal ones.

And him not being sexy... Well didn't find Miranda sexy either. So there is that.

Anybody else roll their eyes when EDI talked to Legion about her body. Wouldn't it be more sensible for an infiltration unit to avoid attention. Not poking out eyes with massive breats

To be fair, it depends on the infiltration method. It is reinforced by historical people, after all.

. She's there to steal data, not **** the entire garrison

Those two are not mutually exclusive, you know...

. That'd be....awkward afterwards...

"Awkward" is how I felt about very many things in ME3. This is but an example.

You must never change Ashley's combat attire.

Thankfully that 80's training wear thing (I cannot for the love of god remember the name) went out of fashion.

Still I remember owning a pair of neon green satin pants. ... To this day I still don't know the point of that -..-

Yep, so good thing you can change it, if you dislike it.

Your picture just shows he doesn't have any hips! And Shepard, right near him has! How can you not see that?? :pinched:

BTW, Miranda is meant to look sexy, even if you don't see her as one. Jacob is meant to look... well Let's just say I think the number of people who'd find his outfit sex appealing is minimal.

I don't really have a problem with Ashley's change. It's not like she's only half-wearing clothes like Samara, for whom the clothes models show that it's friggin supposed to be zipped and latched up. In that case the attire clashes with the character and produces a slimy feeling. For Miranda I think the skin-tight stuff works because it matches her character. For Ashley, I think the change was supposed to represent the passage of time, and furthermore who am I to tell Ashley she can't wear makeup?

I'm fine with sexy characters. Appearance and manner of dress help define a character as much as personality or VA. And fanservice is fine, so long as it's relatively equitable.

But things like EDI's sexbot body bother me. Any humanoid physical platform would've worked just fine for narrative purposes; she was given an objectified body for no good reason, and that's exasperating.

As for EDI, my disappointment with her body mostly stems from missed potential that I see in the EDI/Joker relationship, which embodied the poignancy of two characters finding solace in each other where normal relationships seemed non-ideal or, in EDI's case, impossible. In other words, I saw no need for sexual attraction to enter the fray when there was a lot of potential for connection between them through other storytelling avenues.

on the shuttle

Shepard: I can see this is pointless. I thought you were up for it...
Ashley: Shepard! Wait. I can wear swimwear into battle.
Shepard: Nice!
Liara: What? Me too.
Shepard: Double nice!
Jack: Me too.
Liara: I don't like where this is going.
Shepard: Hey. We'll b@ng, ok?

Not a big fan of gamerpoop's videos but this sums up the reasoning behind some of the decisions Bioware took with the series.

Pfft. Gives up staring at a guy's lack of hips for a med exam. You don't know how to have fun, do you?

But good luck anyway. ^_^

Most of the times it seems that the looks doesnt match the charecter it self.
Ashley in ME 1 is portrayed as a tomboy of sort and in ME 3 her look matchs more of a bimbo.
Miranda is portrayed a thinker, scientist and a doctor but rather then drawing the viewer attention to her mind it is drawen to her ****** and ass.
On the other hand Liara is considered to be sexy without the need of constent ass shots or suggestive outfits,in fact her outfit does resemble what  you might  imagine a field doctor would wear in the world of Mass effect.

See, I don't get this. What changed about Ashley besides wearing her hair down and makeup? That makes her a bimbo?

Miranda is portrayed as someone, originally, that defined herself through her physical and mental perfection. It makes sense for her to present herself in this fashion. Now, by the time ME3 rolls around she's had something of a change of heart about things like Cerberus, but not regarding her looks. She still takes pride in them. I think the Paragon dialogue in ME2 has Shepard basically reaffirming that she should feel good about her physical attributes, the distinction being that these are things that are hers as opposed to something that was given to her, unearned.

It's the "uniform" that causes the comparison.  Seriously, it looks like it incorporates a v-neck, miniskirt and thigh-highs for what is supposed to be a bad**** marine.  She should have a uniform similar to other Alliance officers, especially the female ones, like, say FemShep.  Instead it makes Ash look like she should be serving refreshments on the Normandy.

Also, as I've pointed out before, her current hairstyle almost completely obscures the left side of her face, making such shots of her look wierd and irl would likely obscure peripheral vision.  Not a good thing in a gunfight.

I'd take pink and white armor in a heartbeat if it meant a proper shipboard uniform.

Inflated lips. Heavy makeup. "Hot" haircut. Torso expansion. Miniskirt uniform.

I agree that 'bimbo' doesn't describe Ashley in ME3.  With that said, its clear that BW tried to move away from that so-called "tom-boy" image.  Again, to me, the biggest and worst change of Ashley was her personality, not physical.  Though, if BW hadn't put the name "Ashley" above the character, I would have never known it was her until she spoke.

How come nobody talks about how many times Wrex mentions Krogan balls?
