It doesn't matter what you said. You implied it. If you don't like the endings why don't you just leave? The only real Bioware fans are the ones who appreciate the amazing game they've crafted.

This is not my opinion.

Mass Effect is SO much more story oriented than most games. The player agency given also created a tremendous sense of ownership. So yeah, ME's narrative is held to a higher standard because that's it's primary selling point. To vomit all over that with the ending isn't going over well, despite what some are trying to say

If you just take a second to stop whining and look around the bsn, you'll see that everyone is very satisfied with the ending and the Mass Effect trilogy as a whole.

If you can't have a civilized conversation, then maybe you should go back to your cult group and cry some more about how your fan fiction got closed. You're just angry that the majority appreciates the beauty of the ending and doesn't want a unicorns and rainbow ending.

And it being a capitalist country, your power ends at your wallet.

Well, see, that's where you're wrong. There are many cases in which dialogue between customer and business produce positive results.

Like the EC.

So, the power can extend beyond my wallet and into dialogue. Customer satisfaction, returning customers, good word of mouth, yadda yadda yadda. Because a smart business knows it's not just my wallet at stake, but possibly the wallets of all my friends and my family and aquantainces. We're social beings and any business that fails to realize this hurts themselves.

Then that's their problem, not yours. If you dislike it you are free to take your business elsewhere.

Yeah we already disagree on EC and on being satisfied. As you pointed out, and what we both already knew, is that satisfaction in this is subjective. I think the game is broken (thus my analogy) because of the end, you don't. Now you're stating the obvious and not a point of contention. I already know I'm free to take my business elsewhere and have not stated otherwise. So my point has been made. Now you understand why I'm here and we can agree to disagree. You have your right to your satisfaction and to tell Bioware so, and I have my right to my dissatisfaction and to tell Bioware so. You can dialogue with Bioware about how much you like the game. I can dialogue about how much I don't and suggest how they can fix it to garner further business from me. And there ya have it.

So yeah, I think it's a safe bet that ME3's story criticisms will be reflected in ME4's ending.

If it's not going to be addressed in ME3 dlc, the best thing they can possibly do to deal with ME3's ending criticisms is to toally ignore the Reaper war in any sequel

"Yes, the Reapers invaded.  Comannder Shepard stopped them.  Now let's never speak of it again"

Every single poll on this forum I've seen indicates the majority on this board are still not satisfied with the ending.

awwww, are you trying to hurt my feelings?

You have no idea what I want. Other than a logical ending. Being a patronizing dbag isn't civilized. Just because someine isnt cursing doesnt mean they arent being rude. Jerk

Yeah that's why i think they need to jump far far into the future, leaving reaper war and post war universe in the past.

Also, Capcom said they're considering a reboot of Resident Evil, which would take the franchise back to its "survival horror" roots - which is what the fans have been begging for for the past 5-6 years.

Arguably they've already taken the first step for this by port/remaking Revelations for the consoles. /glee

So yeah, I think it's a safe bet that ME3's story criticisms will be reflected in ME4's ending.

Again, I'm fine with criticizing ME3. As long as it's done respectfully and without indicting either the work ethic or business practices of BioWare, of which you have no knowledge.

While I'll retract, as I did, my statement that they don't listen to any fan feedback, their marketing WAS misleading in some respects.

Intentional or not, they were. That I cannot and will not retract. Respectfully.

The week before launch they said no abc endings, rachni would play major role in the ending, and no Reaper off switch. A week before launch! The game was finished and they flat out lied. But sure, we should grovel at their feet and beg them to take our money.

How much more logical can the ending get? We had everything we needed in the base game and then Bioware went out of their way to give us 2 gigs of content for free! Are you grateful for the sleepless nights that the entire team spent working on the extended cut? 20 slides and minutes worth of epilogue at no charge, but all you can do is complain that Bioware didn't resolve this or failed to show that. It's time for you to get off your high horse and learn to accept when the majority is right.
