What do you think? How common are white gryphons on blue banners on that position?

Thanks:lol:.

If it is a reference, David Gaider should feel proud of the Grey Warden sigil being featured alongside the White Tree of Gondor.

Yup. Hmm, that opens up a world of possibilities. Do you think the Grey Wardens would be neutral when facing the armies of Mordor?

Supernatural as in Dean, Sam, and Castiel?

Awesome. IIRC, the Felicia Day episode had MotA playing on a computer screen.

If the Wardens existed in that universe?

More than likely they'd berate the Elves for running away to the Undying Lands to hide, raze the Shire to eliminate Saruman's forces there and slap Gondor upside the head for claiming they've held back the armies of Mordor, when the Wardens have actually been fighting IN Mordor for thousands of years!

In my mind, the Grey Wardens would recruit heavily from the Rohirrim, since the Horse Lords seem to be the only people in that setting with their heads actually on straight!

Yes because gryphons were first created by the artist team that work on Dragon Age...

There are a lot of family crests that have many different motifs on them. Try to google one of them with a gryphon.

Look at all these people referencing Dragon Age, I bet some of them new Dragon Age was coming about 100 years before it was created!

Chiramu, you seem weirdly insistent that this can't possibly be the case.

Yes, griffins were not invented by Bioware and they are not exclusive to Dragon Age. But considering that the episode stars a big Dragon Age fan (Felicia Day) and has a scene where people are actually playing Dragon Age 2, is it really so weird that the blue flag with the white gryphon that looks roughly the same as the Grey Warden griffin MIGHT be a Dragon Age reference?

Also, it was my understanding that everyone had heard that the Bird is the Word.
