I like playing Geth. My Paladin especially loves them. Just know that messing up once gets you killed from stunlock.

I was a fan of the Geth Engineer when he first came out. Now that Hunter Mode is nerfed, I play him differently, still fun (except that Geth Bombers seem to prevent Overload from chaining)... but not as fun as running him with a Raptor way back when.

@OP I hate the geth minus Legion. Sometimes I pretend I'm him with I play my GI with the Widow, but that's about as far as it goes.

I'm too lazy to bring all my bookmarks onto chrome and organize them again.
I also love fighting and using Geth.
Even though I am a Jack-Of-all-classes I end up using the GI a lot more due to it being able to squeeze power out of my favorite lil guns making them Destroyers on Gold.

I'm with Ziegrif here...The above statement is how I feel about  the Geth. Geth are fun to fight with the right squad and tools. Tech triumphs against Geth. I did my Gold solos for the Lone Wolf Banner against Geth and had a blast. The combat drone of Mr. Primes didn't bother me because I had overoad.  For the Operation Nightfall weekend I used a lot of sabotage, arcgrenades and incinerate.
Salarians are awesome with their enery drain. I love Geth. <3

I love my Geth Engineer, my best support class (though I've yet to try any Volus).
Spec'd out of Hunter Mode and maxed everything else, spec'ing the Geth Turret for shield recharge (except at final evo, where I gave it the flamethrower). Overload uses the usual multi-hit build. Fitness for max shields, can't remember what I did for the passives. But anyway, this is a great "medic" setup of sorts.

I think this is a distinction that should be drawn more
often.

 

Are geth fun to play against? Well, what kit are you using?

 

The combination of their slowness and Recon Mine’s Invasive
Scan = graveyards of Geth, so I’m fine with them against my Drell Infi.

 

 

If I’m using an Engineer (or Paladin), chances are I’m okay
with Geth too, since Shield Drain and Overload cripple them.

 

 

Do I think they’re fun as a faction overall? No; I think
they’re cheap and at the moment somewhat badly implemented. But I do agree that
depending on the class, they can certainly be lots of fun; I just don’t think
class should matter too much.

I like using geth characters but don't like fighting that faction. My favorite geth kit is the trooper. I like seeing the organic enemies that aren't armored or shielded panic when they're on fire. Besides, if I have to face geth, I get to duke it out with a pyro.

I just don't particularly enjoy fighting geth because of the way you have to fight the geth. You really have to be extremely cautious and you don't get much break from constantly watching your back. They are beatable just it requires more effort.

Okay, to actually answer the questions in the OP...

1) My favorite Geth Character is without a doubt the Trooper. I have him built like a tank, and he can take a punishment. Almost out-does my KroSen...

2) Eh, I don't really HATE them, I just don't care for them and their cheapness.
