Can anyone tell me what the best weapons armor, biotic amps and omni tools are and where to get them?

Best weapons are the Spectre line of weapons, identified by HMW in the name:
- HMWA Assault Rifle
- HMWP Pistol
- HMWSR Sniper Rifle
- HMWSG Shotgun
They are only available in VII and X levels. You can purchase them from the C-Sec shop on the Citadel or from the Normandy Requisitions Officer. They are unlocked for all playthroughs after competing the Rich achievement in one playthrough (get 1 million credits). VII are unlocked immediately, X are unlocked after you reach level 50. If you have the Pinnacle Station DLC, you can purchase X versions of the weapons from your apartment, unlocked after completing the DLC.
Best Bio-amps and Omni Tools are Savant Bio-amps and Savant Omni Tools. They come in VIII - X levels. These can be hard to obtain. The Savant Omni-Amps will appear as (extremely) random drops from enemies, but may occasionally appear in a store. Much more rare are the Savant Omni-Tools. Good luck getting them to drop. If you have the Bring Down the Sky DLC, you can get one Savant Omni Tool with enough Charm or Intimidate, provided your level is high enough (40s?) Savant Bio-amps and Omni Tools are much easier to obtain with the Pinnacle Station DLC however, as you can also purchase them from your apartment.
Best armor:
- For Damage protection: Colossus Armor, available in VIII to X levels and Light, Medium, and Heavy variants. Available for all races.
- For shields, Predator L (light), Predator M (medium), and Predator H (heavy). Available in VIII to X levels. Not available for Quarians.
- For Wrex, Geth-made Armor (Rage, Beserker, and one other name I cannot remember; they are all the same) is probably better than Colossus. Available only in Heavy. Slightly less damage protection than Colossus X, but more shields and much more Tech/Biotic protection.
All armor is available in stores and drops, but the best armor is rarer than other variants. Again, your best bet is Pinnacle Station DLC, but that store only contains Medium Colossus X (Human), Colossus X (Quarian), Beserker X (Krogan), and one of the Predator L/M/H (I forget which, all Human). You can get some Colossus armor at the end of the Bring Down the Sky DLC, but at the expense of an Omni Tool.
NOTE: Pinnacle Station DLC store is a random purchase. You spend credits and you receive a random item (from a limited item pool). I do not have a link right now, but if you want to know more, search these forums or use Google.
