Lets try this again, this time without using quotations (even though quotations do not inherantly imply a quote, nor does their use inherantly imply the forgery of one).

The observation I've made is that it's almost as if EA wants to take a second stab at the success behind the story of Mass Effect (even though there's no evidence that is their intention beyond these similarities).
Here are some similarities I've discovered between Dead Space and Mass Effect. Feel free to comment and share others I do not cover.

Isaac = Shepard (bit of a stretch, as both are protagonists)
Unfinished brethren moon = scout reaper
Necromorphs = Collectors / Indoctrinated forces
Tau Volantis = Ilos / Citadel
Unitologist leader = Saren
Activating Codex = Regaining control of the Citadel

So, a long time ago the brethren moons decide to wipe out organic life. The aliens who then become necromorphs attempted to stop the brethren moons by creating the Codex. They failed, and humans are left behind. At our civilization apex we come across the necromorphs, and through them Isaac discovers the true secret behind the Unitologist Leader's plans; reintroducing the brethren moons. Isaac is able to accomplish the seemingly impossible feat of defeating a seemingly invincible enemy; brethren moon. He defeated them by activating the Codex, and the moon crashes into Tau Volantis. Isaac then apparently dies, only to find out the brethren moon successfully notified the rest of the brethren moon armada to come and harvest all organic life.

Allow me to replace the proper nouns...

So, a long time ago the reapers decide to wipe out organic life. The protheans who then become collectors attempted to stop the reapers by creating the Crucible. They failed, and humans are left behind. At our civilization apex we come across the forces indoctrinated by the reapers / collectors, and through them Commander Shepard discovers the true secret behind Sarens plans; reintroducing the reapers. Shepard is able to accomplish the seemingly impossible feat of defeating a seemingly invincible enemy; the scout reaper. He defeated them by disabling the citadel, and the reaper crashes into the Citadel. Shepard is buried under the rubble and surprises everyone with his appearance, only to find out the scout reaper successfully notified the rest of the reaper armada to come and harvest all organic life.

EA... if this is your intention... you may have a sea of bioware fans at your throat in upcoming years.

I have played Dead Space 2 & 3. I personally did not see the similarities.

Given your last topic was just locked, why would you re-create the same topic?

And Mass Effect's ending seemed to have been heavily influenced by Deus Ex.

Okay, let's be honest though, these are two completely separate developers, and EA has nothing to do with creating the story from the game.

Cause it was believed I misused a pair of quotation marks, so i removed them.

You can't honestly say that EA has no control over the development of a game, especially since their projected success governs the amount of funding they receive.

now all that's left is user impression of simularities in sci fi based VG's as canon for all users.

The only similarity is the enemy revelations come completely out of left field. And the Brethren Moons give me a kind of Lovecraftian feel, and ME has some inspiration from Lovecraft.

I believe they influence how the game should be (more oriented towards shooter than RPG, stuff like that). But they do not write the plot.

Thats the effect of games being streamlined. At one point they all look the same

If you alter the gamemechanics, you have to alter the plot.
same gos if you aim for a wider audience.
The plot has to support gameplay, and vice versa.

It's true to some extent. Still, I highly doubt that EA purposly told Viseral Games to write the Dead Space games like Mass Effect.

You already made this. The first time was stupid enough, why try again?

However ridiculous it may sound, these things happen in the entertainment industry for some reason.

Aliens vs. Predator --> Prometheus

Different director, different writers, same plot.

-> Some great secret is uncovered.
-> Mr. Weyland puts together a team of stupid peope to go on an expedition.
-> They behave like idiots.
-> Mr. Weyland's motives revealed near the end.
-> They all die terribly except one female character.
...

I would not call a similarity a delusion. I get you like DS3, I'm not saying I don't, I'm just presenting an obvservation and looking for a discussion.

Production companies or in this case publishers do this. They want the stories on the fast track so a lot of them are recycled over and over.

Do you really have nothing better to do with your spare time than to be a poor, condescending ****** to everybody who doesn't share your views on something? How have you not been banned yet?

He seems to think that EA wanted ME3 story on Dead Space 3. That is delusional.

Apparently, people don't get banned here unless they use profane words.

Not necessarily. Look at the example I gave, recycling story elements in rapid succession is a thing these days.

It is similar in that Isaac's ex love interest went to the same place as Ashley for her chest enhancements.

Please, if anything, it reminded more of Halo.
