The constant letdowns from Bioware.

You should frequent the United States congressional forums instead if you like letdowns.  U.S. Congress has had way more letdowns than Bioware; Bioware has a lot of catching up to do in that department.  Or the Lance Armstrong forums.  Really what I'm saying is you have other options.

Sometimes i need to bath in other humans denial, delusions and their ability to grasp at straws, so i come here.

Short version: For the Lulz, as requested earlier in the thread.

It is very puzzling and amazing to me at the same time.  I often feel the same way here reading about IT as I did when I took a stroll through the Creation Museum.  Entertaining, but a disturbing commentary on the nature of humanity...

Morbid curiosity about BSN shenanigans.

Actual curiosity about what's next!

Talking about Mass Effect, the future of the IP, excitement about Dragon Age... And the steady niggling doubts as to whether I will ever be interested in playing the Star Wars MMO.

Mostly out of habit. This place has been a regular haunt for me for over two years now. I just check in on threads my friends post in and see if there's anything I can add.

It's a great game.

They're making a new ME game and we still have another dlc coming. In general, with the actually rather impressive mp support they've given, me3 is one of the best supported games I've ever seen.

There's a lot to talk about

When I decide to dish out a blow, I'm gonna aim for the sweets.  Maybe strike a nerve or two with a few unflattering comparisons that contain at least a hint of validity.

And it may be f***ed up, but it's got a hell of an animatronic raptor.

Huh.  I've read folks say almost the exact same thing about those who trust in the magical green spray of DNA alteration.

Boredom, the vain hope Bioware will souddenly fix the ending, keeping an eye on the MEHEM and Tali face mod. Mostly boredom though.

And they'd have a point, albeit slightly less valid since it is presented as an in-universe, suspension-of-disbelief-for-story-purposes situation like biotics.  I personally felt that Synthesis was too sketchy, and had too many unknown variables, even though I'm open to transhumanism myself.

Actually it's news about the upcoming DLC. When all the dlc-s are out, I'll stop coming here.

In the hopes that some of the critique will eventually seep through and make for better games for everyone in the future.

:)

That and it's an intellectual exercise at times.
