To read the different Sheps viewpoint, sometimes to pester Destroy folks, but mostly just to see how the consensus of this synthetic compendium is holding out.

Often I get this narlly urge to find the canon ending to the MEU stint, but now a projected super DLC has me wondering what the last hoo rah might turn out to be?

You are bad;)

Come back cause there are some intelligent and insightful discussions and people on this forum (some ignorant ones too.)  Even though MEU is a fractured story with a largely open-ended resolution, there are a great many themes that make for fascinating discussions and bear real world relevance.  Despite ME's flaws, I still consider it the best game(s) I've played for character awesomeness, immersion, and some tremendous writing on the smaller story arcs.

Multiplayer, DLC, stopping lies and misinformation being spread and hey maybe I'll be here when Bioware comes back so I can learn more about the behind the scenes stuff.

Generally because I'm still a fan of the series and enjoy it.

Contrary to what some people here like to suggest: I do think this is a pretty good community.

Over the past year, I've 'met' quite a few people I enjoy and checking this board out has become a daily habit of mine.

I'll be here for the duration and I look forward to sticking around and watching the development of the next ME game.

Met a few folks here that I like, and I'm curious how the game's DLC will ultimately finish off the experience. I'll probably trickle over to the Dragon Age: Inquisition forum eventually, too.

Plus

(1) I started the ME series just before 3 came out, so I actually still learn something new occasionally and
(2) I'm still deciding what game/series to play next (been mostly replaying old/non-ME games since finishing 3), so right now BSN is a good place to hover around at work. Once I find something else, i'll probably just focus on DA:I and whatever else I'm playing.

Getting distracted from writing my thesis.

Which reminds me...I have a dissertation to finish...

Good luck mate! Fortunately it's only a master thesis here. :)

Because of the community, for the most part. And many of the philosophical debates that go way further than anything ever planned or considered by the devs themselves

1. Multiplayer updates
2. Say hello to old friends
3. Vent my nerdrage when I go into an "OMG ME3 RUINED EVERYTHING" relapse

Checking if there are any news. Sometimes reading opinions on some new controversy or theory. I do get the feeling that these forums are full of teenagers, I find the banners in posts especially infantile, but there are also interesting posts from time to time.
