There's also this article about it.

Integrating into personal headcanon.

Did Chris ever write a book?  I'd read the hell out of it, seriously.

I don't know of any books, maybe he did at some point.

I can only hope that EA will re-think their "rule of cool" strategy and re-hire the writers that made this series popular.

I don't think Weekes wrote legion in ME3, as in a blog post he made he mentioned that the only characters he wrote in ME3 were Tali and Mordin.

I also remember hearing that Legion was written by Sylvia Feketekuty, but i am not exactly sure if that is correct or not.

I think it was Karpyshin

Javik (ME3) = John Dombrow and Patrick Weekes

For real? I thought Dombrow wrote Javik alone.

For the record, this is a good thing. Weekes is a god-tier writer.

Had to be him :D

Now what I'm REALLY wondering is who wrote Kai Leng

cause he's my favourite antagonist...

Ashley Williams
Chris L'Etoile (ME1), Jay Watamaniuk (ME3)

Zaeed Massani
Mac Walters (ME2)

Dunno about Zaeed in ME3, but then again, he had like 5 lines.

Now that shows that Mac has a knack for badass characters.

It's probably not a coincidence that most of my favorite characters were written by Patrick Weekes. As well as two of my favorites (ME1 Ashley and Thane) were written by the same person.

Ugh. Mac Weekes was much better than Watamkliuhop-whatever-it-is.

Seriously. Did he play ME2 at all?

He was on the ME2 writing team.

I liked (but not much) how he wrote Miranda. I think its Casey's decision to have Miranda little appearance on the game.

anyone knows about Joker? His dialogue quality has been consistent in all 3 games.

The problem isn't her limited screen time (well, that IS a problem, but not the one I was addressing), the problem is her total reversal in personality from ME2. She isn't a capable, competent person anymore (she dies if you break up with her, and gives the lamest-ass excuse for not joining up I have ever heard).

Speaking of those 2 things, whoever decided they were good enough to implement should be fired.

What has really bothered me has been all the hate surrounding the ending that was directed at Mac Walters.
It is clear from what else he has done with the series that he is in fact a damn good writer.

That's the Lead Writer's decision (excluding her sudden change in personality).

The Blasto comic, Cerberus in ME3, and the already mentioned ending all disagree with you.

His character quality work is probably the reason why he was  given the Lead Writer job.

No, people just don't know what satires are apparently.

Hmm all of my fav characters were written by Drew or Weekes, my least fav ones by Walters. I could have guessed.

Oh wow, I was trying to see what was the writer that wrote Kasumi in ME3 so I could see just who messed up. And you're telling me it was Weekes as well?! He's like my favorite writer and he was responsible for her character assassination?! Are you sure about that?

EDIT: Also, it was actually Sylvia Feketekuty that wrote Legion in ME3.

No, I know what satire is.

But it's much more effective when it's actually good.

Talk about hindsight bias.
