Come to think about it.  Has Bioware only ever had 1 romance option with facial hair?  Just Steve right?  Anders has scruff, but not really a beard, so I'm not sure if that counts.

I should think so! Anders has more facial hair than Steve, anyway. Alistair had a little patch of stubble on his chin and so did Jacob Taylor, along with a moustachy thing on his upper lip. Kaidan's stubble got a little bit more visible in ME3. None of these fine gentlemen ever did sport a full beard though, which is a tragedy worthy of several ballads. No wonder so many people on BSN want Duncan to come back.

I totally meant to say m/m romance options.  I knew about Alistair, Anomen, and Jacob (plus Carth too).  I just wish we had more of that as m/m romancers.  And I definitely would love to see more than stubble.  Stubble is fine, but a beard is better.

We don't know if he's even in the game or had been scrapped though, similar to how a lot of DA2 concept characters didn't make it into the game. I'm a bit wary though since he's human, and I don't think we have 2 human male LIs. I would rather for the Grey Warden or Cullen to fill that spot.

The Grey Warden would be such a great change of pace in regards to LI options. I really hope Bioware is thinking the same.

Of course, this is based on the information I currently have. Which is almost none.

And for the record, I would love to have Cole as a companion. So much. But, I dunno, unless he's dramatically changed from Asunder, I think the guy has quite a lot to be dealing with without adding a romance to it.

Grey Warden or Iron Bull are my first choice. Love me a man with some muscle on him. After that, Dorian or Cullen, depending on how much I like their character progression in the game. Varric is more like my brother or best friend.

Going by preference then: Cullen>Grey Warden>Dorian>Iron Bull>Cole>Varric

Bioware may surprise us all and none of those guys are romanceable, so who know? Why would a Grey Warden join the inquisitor though. It's strange because I thought they're not supposed to meddle into people's business to maintain the good relationship with certain factions, maybe the grey warden guy is an ex-member like Anders.

You make a good point about body types.  If Grey Warden is a companion, he really should stay bulky and muscular.
However, the Inquisitor in the demo had more of a lean muscular body like male Hawke.
I'm hoping there will be weight/muscle sliders like Skyrim, with body types ranging from thin to muscular (Inquisitor) to bulky (Grey Warden) to uber ripped (Iron Bull).

That would be pretty awesome.

I like that idea! Maybe the new engine will make it possible for both the player character and companions to have a wide variety of body types 8D

Agreed. I kind of like how Dragon's Dogma had different body types as well.

That's part of the reason I'd like Mr. Grey Warden to be a LI. I like the ruggedness of his looks. Of course I say this knowing absolutely nothing about these characters at this point (if they even are characters).

Didn't they say that he would be like a mentor type character? It would be kinda weird to romance a mentor type though. "No, stop it, sensei". Okay, I'm not gonna go there. 

In ancient Roman times, it was not uncommon for a man to have sexual relations with his mentor.

For my first playthrough qunari Inquisitor?  While Iron Bull is most tempting, I might actually end up pairing him with that grizzly hunk of a Grey Warden...because interracial relationships are

As an aside, I'm guessing the Grey Warden is who Alistair was originally supposed to be.
