The reload-canceled DPS on the incisor is now higher than that of the Black Widow.  Just putting it out there.  :whistle:

Evolution 5 is 6a, not rank 5.  This damage evolution is competing with shield drain and duration, which is vastly superior in most builds.  Overall this is a very minor and inconsequential 'balance' change as it only provides 15% additional base damage.

When there are no balance changes, people complain. When there are some balance changes, people complain that it wasn't what they personally had hoped for, even jumping to such conclusions as saying that Bioware is abandoning the game. Geez people, there have been 5 pretty nice buffs today. Give the devs a break and calm down.

How about a 5% boost to all the rare melee gear next balance change. The uncommon one got a 5% boost.

Already enjoying the Biotic Charge buff. Vanguards bore me and it's long been my most neglected class, but the 50% bonus power is really making me enjoy my asariguard again.

As for AF, I just checked and I actually run that damage evo even though I probably shouldn't be, so... okay >_>...

Also I'm very happy the melee gear was buffed! I use that very often. =)

All in all this is probably one of my favorite balance days yet. Most times I just roll with the flow and the changes make little difference to me, but this really freshened the game up for me in a way.

Yep. I mean honestly, who at BW thought that of all the things in this game that needed balancing, the biotic charge evo desperately needed attention?

There are huge, glaring balance problems in this game. Changes like this show that at this point in time, BW isn't interested in making the big changes needed but rather tiny tweaks that are ultimately meaningless.

Queue people telling me I'm ungrateful and that these balance changes are amazing :sick:

Depending on which version of English the poster was using, Queue may have been correct. Cue tends to be used more in American English only.

In that context, cue is correct in English English too. Queue and cue are different words.

I already preferred the 33% thing on my Claymore (duh) Drellguard. That guy's shields are worthless so an occasionally free Charge for half of nothing is better than nothing at all :P

Still not really worth it for the other Vanguards I think.


Same. Drellguard used bonus power before buff.

Post buff I will serriously consider it on smashguard (though I really need it on smash itself). Could also create interesting Asari possibilities (charge, damage enh. stasis, BOOM HEADSHOT). Finally 50% chance could help full blast nova-guards (chance to skip cooldowns while you build to minimum cooldown)

 The problem with bonus power is that it is too unpredicatble. Would be nice (if abuseable) if we got a free use every x uses.

This. And good to see biotic charge has more chance not to cause cool down. Some vanguards could make use of this buff. Now where's my reset card?

...Still I believe Phoenix need some tweaks.

My KroGuard and Valkyrie are happy about the changes to BC and AF. I'm sure all VolGuards and DrellGuards are too.

not in this context it's not. and i am british not american, so it's definitely not that.

These changes are pretty lackluster. We have underperforming powers such as Pets, Biotic Sphere, Stasis, and Cryo Blast, which need to be brought up to be useful on higher difficulties. Who really uses Damage on Barrier and AF?

The Acolyte fix was not a balance change, only a correction to what the most recent patch broke.
