certainly I found that the free charge made it much much eassier/faster to be offensive. charge, kill mooks/charge to next target. with a low shield base, like on the drell, your shields are there to give you shield-gate anyway

I already took the evolution on my Volus Vanguard. This buff is a straight upgrade.

An extra ~300 shields on Biotic Charge is negligible compared to the damage invulnerability and reduction from Shield Boost. Knowing when it's safe to use Biotic Charge is integral to my style of play on him, and having a 33% chance to do more than I anticipated was treated as a sweetener. Now it's 50%, increasing the likelihood of going above and beyond what I set out to do, whether it be Shield Boost or a second Biotic Charge.

Negative. It just doesn't have any use for my playstyle. I like having barriers restored fully for survivability, especially for the Slayer's Phase Disrupter.

Yes, i'm a bronze player who charges everything including banshees with aura on, phantoms who meleed air, etc then shoot them with my trusty avenger 3. I'm so far away from being an excellent player like you as only an excellent player could know what other excellent players do.

Hopefully that is enough to cover the ego massage (not) subtly requested in your previous post.

Hm, may have to try a very power-focused KV build w/ this evo now; technically he'd benefit the most from it, damage-wise, due his longer BC cd. That, ofc, means he's riskier to tank w/, but eh.. cyclonic mods are OP crutches and fix that issue easily.

Already was using it on the DV since his barriers are crap anyways. Not sure if I'd spec it on any other VG though.. maybe PV or Bouldergard?

I have stasis spec'd to rank 6 at the moment and I always go with 33% to bonus power on it (great for BEs as the cooldown for stasis is usually too long anyway). It will be interesting to try both of the bonus powers out (i have full barrier on BC at the moment)

So far I've taken it on my Asariguard, and enjoyed it. Don't think I've been much squishier than before, and double and triple-charging is noticeably more easy.

I tried it on the Asariguard as well. It's freaking hilarious when I can charge 6-8 times in a row, which actually happened a number of times. It's a fun alternative.

I will take 100% shield restore. Its more.... reliable. Even with 50% chance of a no-cooldown, its spamming BC button and hoping for the best.
