Since there is a FAQ i thought maybe we'd do one for what BW deems as acceptable and what they deem as cheating.
No trolling, only listing glitches and whether they are ok or not. Also if some BW mods can chime in if we miss something or make a mistake it would be awesome

Bad things
Falling through the map to get to LZ - Bad
Extra Skill Points - Bad
Hydra Glitch - Bad
Missile Glithcing - Bad
consumable stacking - Bad

Unknown BW stance
Shadow Ladder Glitch - I haven't seen a response on this
Hack GTFO glitch - I haven't seen a response on this
Ops pack to avoid sync kill - I haven't heard anything on this
Infinite PPR ammo glitch - I haven't seen a response on this
Striker + cloack glitch - I haven't seen a response on this
Lowering framrate or dragging down PC performance to make enemies easier - I Haven't seen a response on this
Becoming Invisible on certain maps - I'm sure this is not OK, but since i don't know if it can be done by acident or not, i'd wait to hear from BW before placing it in a category


OK things:innocent:
animation canceling - OK (reload, nova, havok strike etc)
warp + Inc ammo - OK
Inf Grenades + Inc ammo = OK
Making misile launcher invisible - OK
Striker + Explosive round glitch - OK
Paladin FE glitch - OK

OK from BW but frowned upon by BSN (aka for wimps) <_<
Box of shame on rio - OK
Running with pizza - OK


Edited **** bad on top need answer in middle and ok on bottom

Also i'm suprised BW hasn't chimed in on this thread yet i'd like to get some offical answers to the unknown ones if possible

Been a long time since I heard about it and it may have been fixed, but any bug that you can reproduce invincibility is bannable.

Question 1: what do you mean "Falling through the map to get to LZ - Bad"? It's definitely not my freakin' fault if it happens! Where did they state it's "bad"?

BW said that if it happens on accident then its ok, but if you purposly expliot it (aka standing on a spot and opening fire knowing you won't die , you''ll just respawn is bad. I konw they fixed FBW but it can be done on other maps like hydra and Ghost

Also is there a glitch BSn doens't really know about? I'm curious to see if anyone knows what it is now before i say it. Its been around since earth DLC

Is warp+ inc. ammo ok? I still use it a lot after learning. ignf I always love IA, and probably used it more than warp with all my adepts/sent. First time I solo'd gold was with a Tsel using it. I didn't know.

Yeah well, it happens quite some times to me on Ghost. Especially when playing Volus... Those rare times I play them. But hey, I have no idea why it happens, let alone being able to exploit them... I surely hope they don't want to ban me on something that I have no intention in doing 

About the other glitch... I have no idea what it is. I wasn't around BSN when Earth was released.

Don't worry. it doens't give an advantage really. maybe in some instances with the pizza it could be usefull, or for a desperate escape but its nothing that is game breaking and BW probably wouldn't care if people do it

Also, just google the shadow glitch and this thread was the first result. No one knows, if it's serious, just keep your mouth shut and report it to Bioware.

Warp + Inc was deemed ok by BW, i'll update the OP. thanks for reminding me on that one

and i've seen it. before BW commented on it i did it a few times for the lolz on extarction. if i got FBW on the extraction wave i'd sit on it till i died and appeard on the LZ. my soldier was lazy. then when BW said it wasn't ok i made my soldier run lol.

I only know of "stuck at the top of ladder bug" and "drell running so fast ignoring ladder bug"

I think I might know the Shadow glitch you're talking about, but as far as I was aware, you had to avoid ladders to do it. Also, I really doubt it would be ban-worthy. There really isn't much of an advantage to it. I'd say it's akin to running with the pizza.

To be clear:  This is when you simultaneously perform a Havoc Strike and Heavy Melee attack.  If you are within Heavy Melee range, the damage from both attacks will affect your target(s).
