Incendiary ammo and a lot of DOT powers are glitched. This may open a can of worms. Some are not as significant as warp and incendiary but it glitches with some other DOT powers.

I just had a game of U/UG on FBW and I totally found out a way to become invincible by accident. Not going to post it here (obviously) but that should probably be added to the bad list.

Well I knew it has been around but I figured it was patched. But since it accidentally happened to me, I now know it wasn't so it should go in this thread.

it's not a process. All you have to do is go to your weapon screen, takes about 5 seconds total.
I post caps to stress words. I posted even more caps on the 1st response because your INFO WAS FALSE and I wanted it to be 100% clear to all. Nothing is worse than information that confuses more than it helps.

again with the caps lol. Thanks for the correction on how to activate a glitch, cause you konw thats just what the forums needs, more ways to cheat. if you noticed none of the posts i make or anyone else in thsi thread tell you how to do a glitch that can give an advantage. not only did you explain how to activate an unfair advanatge, you've also made your own thread about it and linked it here. You could have just posted that it isn't a random occurance and left it at that. The point of this thread is to list the known glitches/exploits and whether or not they are ok to use or not. Its not to give people advice on how to cheat. I appreciate you correcting the false info, but don't appreciate you giving people advice on how to exploit the game. With that said, lets stay on topic and not help people cheat for the rest of the thread. please and thank you

the underline is there to point out to BW spefically since they don't have all day to ready every little detail of the forium. I don't use an underline to point stuff out to another poster. So no HUGE difference....see what i mean?

In regard to the invincibility glitch I've got an understanding on how to do it, as I know the exact situation it came from, it would just be kind of hard to do. Though frankly, by accident it actually wouldn't be that hard and I'm surprised I've heard less about it actually because how it happened wasn't all too crazy. Oh and back when it was more of a problem, Bioware did post that it was a ban-able offense to do the glitch (on purpose).

Also, I'd agree to put it warp + incendiary into that category as well, but I'm a little confused as to whose opinion is the relevant one.

Not true at all. The how to hack circle trick was discussed as well as others.

The last time I made a thread like this. Let's just say it disappeared instead of getting locked. I'd be surprised if this one didn't get the same treatment. I think somethings they can't replicate at BW and thus have no opinion on.

yes in the OP i have 4 categories
1) OK from BW
2) Not OK from BW
3) BW hasn't made an offical stance on it
4) OK by BW but frowned upon by BSN

now the 1st 3 are pretty clear cut, its the 4th category that is tricky. For instance the 1 i used which could have been listed as frowned upon and i knwo some people didn't like it was the flamer + reegar combo which was fixed in a patch but BW said it was ok to use. Some BSNers considered it cheap (it did do a crazy amount of damage) as far as the relevant opinion i'd say a popular opinion f BSNers that don't use it is a good example. Personally i don't use the warp + inc thing but i don't frown upon people who do use it. yet alot of BSNers who don't use it sem to frown upon those that do, therefore i added it in that category. Even though i made the thread i don't want it to be a "my opinion only counts" thread i want it to be a collective list and opinion. I don't use the box of shame becuase its boring but i did use the glacier room of shame. when speed running platinum for credts wave 7 was always the room of shame since it was no bosses and all fast moving enemies on a small map. it made it go smoother. while camping an area is a legit stratgy it is frowne dupon by most BSNers espcially the box of shame since you can't get OHK, yet nobody frowns upon the use of a ramp to tank banshees since they can't OHK you.

Not true at all. The how to hack circle trick was discussed as well as others.

the only one that was told on how to do it besides your psot on the wieght was the hack one. Which i agree shouldn't have been posted. but unless your doing a solo (which already put syou at a disadvanatge ebing down 3 players) there really isn't a big advanatge to it. The difference between 3 uploaders and 4 isn't huge and the enemies keep respawning until your done anyway. yes it wiull draw aggro but you can do that with 3 hackers anyway. its also situational as it really only helps with 1 possible objective you might get and its not a major help. having 100% extra cooldown the entire game is a much bigger advanatge and you can sue your abilites twice as often (assuming using 2 weight adding wepaon mods)

You forgot reload canceling, host leaving to be reinvited on party wypes. Fps control to slow down enemy reaction, Key mapping.

Paladin FE glitch = fire shield prime, then detonate. The FE happens on your shield (yourself) instead of the enemy, usefulle when surrounded.
Actually I'm so used to it I hope they never fix it.

reload canceling is there (its under animaiton canceling and is listed as an example of such)
host leaving to reset a wave is an interesting one. I can post that if wanted
FPS control is listed already under no foocial BW stance yet
Key mapping isn't a glicth or exploit and has been ok'd by BW but can be added if everyone wants

The idea of the thread isn't to teach people how to glitch. its to inform people (espcially new players) about what is acceptable and what isn't. i got the idea when BroJo made a FAQ thread for new players.

The shadow ladder glitch is explained if you read the whole thread as it doens't give an advantge in game.
