I heard an interesting theory that the Claymore wasn't developed by any of the known ME species. It was always there, and the species simply adapted and grew properly sized arms, so they can hold the Claymore.

I discovered how much fun Claymore drell vanguard is while finishing that off. On Silver at least.
Yes yes laugh all you want, I didn't trust myself enough to try playing on Gold with it, and prefer not to be a burden on team mates if it doesn't work out so well.
