So, racing to make it done, to meet the deadline, do you think this problem is still present?
Do the games suffer and if they do, to what extent?

Food for thought after some of the recent titles that didnt meet the expectations.

Sometimes even the most strict planning, management of time etc. will fall foul of one of "those projects" - sometimes you get mired because a project is a ****, or sometimes you need or want to pull a lot of overtime on a project that is going perfectly well because sometimes that's the way things are -  and there is no way you can avoid that.

There are also some pretty horrible and exploitative managers and companies out there, including some of the biggest, but it is very important to distinguish between the two.
