The Mattock has always been my soulmate gun, and still is.

That being said, I don't want it on every kit. The weapon challengs helped me find other guns that I hadn't really messed around with before, but enjoy using occasionally for a change. Specifically, the Striker, Raider, and Crusader.

People dismiss the Piranha; but for me it recalls happy times in Sujo and Enowapi with the M3 Jackhammer.

I also really enjoy the PPR, Graal and the Scorpion.
Most other guns are just guns: same old feeling from any number of shooters.

It's not underrated, but it's the Talon. I started using it on casters only (what I mainly play), but I've started using it with everything now. It's really versatile.

Most of the guns I use are the "popular" ones, and IMO they're popular because they're good.  I'd say that about 75% of the time, I'm using either the Wraith, Talon, Claymore, or Harrier.  Or Hurricane.

As far as unpopular guns go?  The Phalanx is probably my favorite.  I carry it as a sidearm any time I'm using a short-range shotgun like the Piranha, Raider, or Reegar.  I occasionally use the Hornet as a sidearm too.  As far as main weapons go, the only unpopular one I ever use is the Vindicator, and only rarely for that one.  Unless you consider the Valiant to be unpopular (it seems to be getting there these days).

I found I actually loved the Raider, definetly much easier to spam shots at close range compared to the Reegar. RCing it allows me to keep up a steady stream of near AoE shots.

Recently stared using the claymore on my infidrell... it's almost unfair for the game. I would say the Reegar, but for whatever reason it likes to stop firing even though I have the triggered pulled.
