According to "lore ****s" a Geth Vanguard/Adept is unthinkable.

However as far as Sentinels go he could be placed there.

Hunter Mode
3rd tech power.

The only problem is it would make him redundant since the GT is Basically the same just with a awesome Flamer.


Make it Defense Matrix, Hunter Mode and some debilitating, medium damage grenade as third power and you have THE best new Geth kit.

A Geth Tech Vanguard would be fine.
FTL jump instead of Biotic Charge, Overload and Cryo Grenade.

Edit: Also Defense Drone redesigned as tech equivalent to Annihilation Field would fit a new Geth character.

One could still debate that those electric impulses on those mutated nerves are not something to easily synthetizise.

Note the "mutated". Only people exposed to eezo have that ability, so it's no natural occurence per se, meaning that it's not unlikely that synthetic reproduction is actually impossible if the biological neural component is necessary to facilitate those specific impulses.

In universe biotic'ish effects like shields and Disruptor torpedos are complex, energy demanding devices that exhibit only few forms of biotics, basically just the basic three forms of increase/decrease weight and shifting fields for disruptive effects.

Shockwave is an awesome detonator for AF IMO I have a buddy who will folly me through all sorts of baddies as a baraian sentinel while i am a valkyrie, he spams shockwave as i run into stuff. Super effective

I agree OP. I also think we should have gender equality in all races. Why is there no Male representation in the Asari race? WHy, if I want to play Asari, do I have to play as a female? Where is the Diversity?

Readning through this one has been entertaining.

And the weird part, is that things spontaneously got back on topic, and actually discussed legitimite lore questions about how biotics work.

Though, personally I think Biotic Geths are a bit silly, I actually have a hard time definitely giving a reason why they couldn't exist.

The manipulation of mass effect fields is at the heart of it, and that's exactly what most ships/weapons/electronics/communication devices do in the Mass Effect universe.

It being exclusive to "biotic" people is a function of the eezo nodules being carefully integrated into the individual's nerves due to fetal/embryotic exposure. There's nothing in the lore about the nerve impulses being anything aside from carefully associated with physical gestures, something easily achieved with synthetic circuitry.

Agreed. Perhaps it should have a power similar to barrier? Something that reduces it's mass and allows it to move much faster than normal geth.

Or in other words, power that boosts speed, reload time, and weapon switching, along with a defensive boost. Flushing the excess energy (IE detonating it) causes all nearby enemies to take electircal and radiation damage.

You know, for a bunch of people proclaiming to know the lore, many don't actually seem to bother learning it, or applying it to situations. They just look at what isn't already said and go, "I can't find it in the wiki so it must not be able to exist" despite no evidence proving it can't exist.

Conservatives I call them, gaming conservatives. They claim to know what goes on in a story, but really they just reject anything new and scream how it can't be done without giving any reasons and shouting out everyone until they are the only voice in the room left to hear.

A biotic geth(which is lore friendly) doesn't bother me, though I don't really like the idea of it being another Annihilation Field nuker.

We already have two of those. I feel like it should have a unique style, preferably with new powers.
