I see.
Is there a reason there are three different threads (active on this front page) on this topic?

I'm heartily confused. Are you saying that male warriors and female mages cannot be bisexual, that everyone bisexual is a rogue? Or possibly a male mage/female warrior? If so, why were you concerned about Anders? And regarding Merrill, she never had any previous exploration of her sexuality at all, so how could that possibly be construed as ruination?

No one in Thedas is straight these days. Everyone is bisexual. The Maker has deemed it so.

And, by the end of DA ]|[, mages.
Bisexual mages. Everyone.
What the living hell are you even talking about? Why did you mention Anders when Fenris was the male warrior? How did Merrill's romance damage her character? Did you want her to be only straight, or not romanceable at all, and how would either make the slightest bit of difference?draken-heart wrote...

The idea is actually more that it was catering to the people who wanted a female mage for female hero and male warrior got them and the other options. It was ruining the character by catering to the people who wanted it. Merrill could have been a great character without the Romance being involved.
Sounds normal to me. . . :lol:Fast Jimmy wrote...

can we pleas get to the topic of the thread? What do you all think about having S/S Exclusive Romances that happen to be on your side but not on the field of battle with you (Non-playable Characters)

So it's not catering to those want a straight romance with Merrill? Anders wouldn't pout or blow up the chantry if he were straight?draken-heart wrote...

I said that Merrill could have been a great character (as in her development could have been better) IF they did not cater to those who wanted a female mage. Do not get me wrong, Merrill was a great romance, but the fact that the developers catered to those people who wanted a female mage made it so that part of the resources that could have been used to better her character development was used to give her the bi/PC-sexual romance. and I mentioned Anders because he WAS ruined by being set as a bi option.

I think everyone being bi is better than relegating S/S romances to second class status.
Why would the NPC need to be gay again? Could the NPC be straight and the companions be gay to have more diverse sexual orientation?draken-heart wrote...

made no sense for any of the characters except Isabela. And you could add them to the list but not add them as party member, but meake them just as important to the story.
