This game has ruined what little life i have.

Never played any multiplayer until ME 3 and I loved it but knew I needed to get myself out so I told myself around November, I’m going to max out my manifest while getting as many challenge points and then I can quit.
The problem is, I can’t seem to get it done. Since probably december, I’ve probably spent 50m+ credits and have not gotten a SINGLE ultra rare outside of commendation packs. I am not speaking in hyperbole. With every wave I spend my credits, the more obsessed I’m becoming due to the lack of weapons I’m getting. This has become my 2nd job as I easily spend 50+ hours on a regular week playing. I’m lying to friends and family, telling them I’m sick, or I have to stay late at work because I stopped regularly picking up my phone or showing up outside of work. I live in NYC where this is always something going on but since Christmas, I’ve gone out twice. On new year’s, I had the “flu.” God knows how many times I’ve had “food poisoning”…I can go on and on with how I’ve let myself go….
I mean 50m+ credits and not a single ultra-rare? I probably spend %15 on equipment packs and the rest on Premium packs. I’ve never posted on here before until now because i feel like i need to vent to someone who knows about this game. I almost want to email bioware blaming them for this but I’m still sane enough to know that they don’t have it out for me…for now…but this game has me slowly losing my mind.
Is there something wrong here (with the lack of ultra rares I’m getting, not my obsession…I know the answer to that)?
Should it really be this hard?

Don't spend all your TIME trying to unlock Ultra-Rare weapons...
Start spending all your REAL MONEY instead!

I am a binge player. I focus on one game at a time and it’s all I can think about until it’s over with.
Never played any multiplayer until ME 3 and I loved it ......
That is me too.
Except I do much less than 50h/week,... I think.
On the other hand, I stopped wanting URs when I finally got my last missing one: Typhoon I.
Also challenges helped - I switched motivation to do the challenges instead hunting credits for illusive URs - which is something more deterministic and better suits me.
Finished them, but still love the game and I pick some challenges to do a second (3rd,4th, 5th ...) time, from time to time.
Now, I mostly buy RPs and JEPs which reward me each time with something I want. I try occasionally SP, PSP, and the rest, without going on shopping sprees, and I hit a few more URs. Definitely spent much less than your 50 millions.
So my advice to you is: relax because the URs are not worth it.
....
EDIT1: Never mind, I saw your manifest.
15x biotic and tech challenges - that sounds like 50h per week.
EDIT2: Hope you'll spent next 50 millions on RPs, after promoting - so you can finally get your BofB

not much science or proof on that, but i once went on a 4 mil strait dry streak, i got burned out on the store so i tried what other people were saying which was the "old wives tail" above.
it seemed to help me not waste so many credits and "seemed to work".
there is also another theory, that your chances improve for UR's if there are other items such as rares that you can still get, so using this theory many people with only UR's left wait until a DLC comes out and hope for the best.
anyway, like i said i have no proof, but the results seems real, but it could be just because "i want to beleive it" sorta deal.
btw the game is still fun even after getting a full manifest
