So...unless you're wallhacking or trying to oneshot mooks, there's no reason to ever use anything but incendiary ammo.

Interesting.

To be fair on AP rounds, they may do less damage but they do allow bullets to punch through walls.

Very useful on my TSol. Nice to know that Incendiary Rounds are better for direct damage, though.

I would like to see a higher cap on the damage for explosive rounds, and a shorter delay, even if it means doing a smaller % of the weapons damage.... It still means they will at least ALWAYS be useful.

Even if they are not ideal.

Also, extended magazines.

AP ammo is good and has its purpose in the game, it doesn't have to be better than Incendiary in the damage department.

I think the shorter delay more than anything, just so that you can actually see your ammo do something while the enemy is still alive.

on explosive ammo, the 1st time it goes off it will make a preatorian put up its anti-power bubble.

not sure how that could be benificial info tho, other than a heads up to avoid that ammo on power spammers Vs the collectors.

not really that big of a deal tho, so its just whatever...

add:
havent seen the ammo force the same pretorian into the anti-power bubble for a 2nd time, so it seems like it only happens the 1st time per pretorian.

I have a ton of Explosive Rounds III cards stored, and it keeps coming out on Spectre Packs like crazy, sometimes 2 or 3 cards per pack. This garbage needs a massive buff.

there was a plat game when I accidentally took Incendiary ammo on my turian typhoon soldier instead of AP ammo. guddamn everything was dying fast.

I do like explosive ammo on the striker though, if I need an ammo power for an unknown PuG game. mwar explosions can never be a bad thing

I have 255 incendiary rounds IV maybe I should start using them. I just prefer ap rounds on assault rifles because you can use the extended barrel so you do 25% more damage to shields and barriers.

Remember that the Incindiary rounds are only superior in instances where the target takes more then three seconds to kill.

A claymore/Similar ROF gun user may as well take AP ammo and go for one shot kills (And even occasionally move to a higher ROF, or lighter gun when waste damage becomes present.)

This really benefits the Revenants, Tempests, and Reegars (Figuring that the rate these ticks ramp up is effected by ROF.)

I bet this effect would even be more pronounced with the Typhoon, as incendiary ammo does build up on shields (If I haven't missed vital information,) and it strips shields quickly, allowing for scenarios where you stip a targets shields, and start shooting something else cause target 1 is totally screwed.
