Would like to begin by just saying that if Oghren is the returning companion in awakening, I for one am glad. On my 7th playthrough now and this is the first time i've taken him a long for the ride, and he may be a tough nut to crack, he was well worth the effort

But the point of the thread was to ask, in the deep roads, at the end of Branka's journal entry, there is the reference to Oghren and something she wanted to say to him, but it should only be for his ears. And yet when they reunite she is too obsessed at that point to care about him. I'm curious as to what the writer's intention and meaning was behind that "cliff hanger"?

Was she going to tell him she loved him, or was it going to be a confession of her affair with Hespith ? Or perhaps even an explanation as to why he was the only one left behind ?
