Small things you'd like to see

2. Character records page (i.e. max damage done, total enemies killed, hit percentage, etc).
3. Hide helmet option.
4. Armor/weapon dye option (i.e. change the color on armor pieces and weapons, and also emblems and heraldry on armor and shields).

Different casual outfits for the main character
Drunk conversations with companions
More than one type of cheese
All of these suggestions are genius.
I'd like to buy artwork in game for my homebase. Failing that, a sculpture of some sort of phallic symbol.

Go back to having each item have a proper name and description like they did in DA:O. Most of the items in DA2 were generically named with just a listing of stats. I found that broke immersion as much as anything else.
I totally missed that! I remember I right-clicking an item to read the description in DA2 but nothing happened. It took me a bit to realize there was no description or little small story.
I enjoyed reading the equipment and items in DAO

I'll admit this did annoy me alot when I played Dragon Age 2 along with how you couldn't compare the items to what you have to see if it was worth picking up. If this happens to return in DA3 I would like to see us be able to enchant the item and give it a name.
If that happens I'll be selling so many rings called "The Ring of Doom" for a good amount of money to a bunch of suckers.
Along with and I can't stress this enough Drunk conversions with companions amoung other things. Seriously, as many times as we ask someone if they want a drink or they ask us, it's odd how we barely drink with our companions in both ME and DA.

This! I missed the item histories. Also seconding the "more casual outfits for the main character" option that someone else listed.
More items that level up with the character. In a lot of games you'll get an item that's special somehow (an artifact, or has history, or should have some relevance to the character) but it'll just get tossed in exchange for the Level 19 Tier Appropriate Sword later on.
Also, merchants with set inventories. Not being able to find full suits of armor without reloating a thousand times in DA2 is just unforgivable. You can have -some- random content, but nothing like having the player pray with every reload they can find another piece to complete an entire set of Templar armor.

I'd like a character record screen of sorts like in origins.
You know this was a nice feature that origins had, I also want this back for...future games if anything perhaps even taken further and be able to share records among your online friends. Mind as well since an online of sorts is coming to DA3
Stuff like, who did you bring the most, how many kills did you have compared to your friends, what choices you made and such. This would be great to have back.

Elemental effects shown on weapons. Loved the lightning in DAO. Also being able to forge weapons/armour and name them.
Different casual outfits for PC.
Mabari hound as full squaddie. He was the only one who loved me through thick and thin in DAO.
More armour for mages, not flimsy robes. Have two handed warriors actually swing their swords around with TWO HANDS.

I also would want bosons to look like bosons, and not quarks. It breaks my immersion big time.

- Sustainable stealth ability (including off combat) <- I want this so bad.
- Item description
- Combat log
- class compliant finishers
- Pants for mages
And we can't ever have enough banter.

-One Monty Python easter egg. Come on, we know you want to.
-Cats. Dragon Age two sorely lacked CATS. =v=
-A mage hat that doesn't look absolutely ridiculous.
-A mage hat that makes all the hats that came before it look normal. I'm not one to break tradition, we need SOME silly hats!
-I want to ask Flemeth to teach me the dragon trick. And be extremely stubborly childish and demanding doing it.

No cat could be found who would agree to take part in that game.

I wasn't aware cats could see into the future... they're rather indecisive animals usually, cautious and wisely waiting to appraise a situation with a modicum of information before making up their mind.Yendor_Trawz wrote...

1. When trying to attack, use an ability, disarm a trap, open a chest, door, etc that is out of range, the controlled player moves into range and does it rather than talking back (it was in DA:O, somehow got taken out of DA2). Also bring back the ability to auto-target enemies that aren't in the game camera's field of view from DA:O. I didn't realize how much I missed those two things until I went back and started another game in DA:O.
2. Character records page (i.e. max damage done, total enemies killed, hit percentage, etc).
3. Hide helmet option.
4. Armor/weapon dye option (i.e. change the color on armor pieces and weapons, and also emblems and heraldry on armor and shields).
I like all of these ideas. Also, what someone said about drunk conversations with companions, that would be amazing. xD
A small thing I'd like to see is being able to sit down. If you feel like relaxing and just enjoying the beautiful vistas which we will hopefully get in this game, it will be nice to have our character and their companions sit on benches or even just on the floor.

Ideally, I'd like the CC before the prologue, too (if Inquisition has a prologue). That would be wonderful.

More than one casual outfit for the PC, more complexion options (freckles/scars etc), a couple of lighting presets in the CC so we can judge what our character is going to look like in-game more easily. Sensible outfits for the modern mage on the go.

I completely agree with everything you just said there. I recently started DAII again and I was thinking about scars, and I saw a couple of characters whose faces would look more "complete" with them. Also, as well as giving us good lighting altogether so we can see what we're doing, they seriously need to give us a good look at the eye colour we're providing.

I totally agree with this! Part of the role-playing movie in my head is the idea that certain characters would be attached to certain items. For example, wouldn't Sebastian always use the Starkhaven longbow?Sopa de Gato wrote...

And no damn feathers! What is it about mage outfits and feathers? I don't imagine something that's two steps away from a feathered boa would strike the fear of the Maker in my enemies.Evil_Jashinist wrote...
