You got rivalry reputation which isn't the same thing as the negative rep you got in the first game, but I'm assuming you're talking about the one time -5 hit you took the first time someone flirted with you?

If that's the case, it's quite insignificant you can easily recoup the loss throughout the game for that one interaction.

Perhaps you could cite the individual scenes where each companion and/or NPC hit on Hawke.

Unfortunately, I think you may be remembering the events in the game differently from how they actually occurred.

This thread isn't going to end well. The problem is I agree with the OP (at least if the OP is trying to say what I think he is), but all too many people are going to yell "bigot" or other less nice terms if one dares disagree with how DA2 did this.

Oh well, so be it. For the record I have no issue with any character's sexual orientation, but that should be an intrinsic part of the character. I strongly dislike wasn't bi/same-sex/opposite sex relationships but rather that the romanceable characters were all "Hawke-Sexual" whether that orientation made sense for the characters in question or not. [Anders I am looking at you.]

Given the limited amount of resources and the fundamental need to provide adequate companion romance choices i feel that the BI option(characters sexuality being reactive to a particular playthrough) is the best course.

No I Don't belive i am a Bigot But there has to be fine line it is very unrealistic that every body in the Dragon Age Universe would be Bisexual

Why it my be unrealistic for all characters to be bisexual; there are many things unrealistic about games especially dragon age.

We could talk about how unrealistic it is for you to wear the armor of the enemies you just killed after they exploded or, that the armor even fits. (it should be all custom fitting realistically)
What breaks immersion for one doesn't matter for another.

I wouldn't be surprised if the trend continues in DA3: I. As wright1978 pointed out they have limited resources and no restrictions give the most choice for everyone.

Oh look, it's *this* thread again.

Can I save you all some time?

- They didn't explicitly say they were bisexual, so they aren't!
- Not all bisexuals declare that they are!
- It's not realistic!
- Nothing is realistic!
- They should make exclusively gay romances!
- They said they won't make exclusively gay romances!
- Sexuality is a huge part of every character!
- Sexuality is not a huge part of every character!
- My immersion!
- *My* immersion!!!
- I have a great idea! They should put in a toggle for those who dislike homosexual content! I'm a genius!

I hope that everyone romanceable in DA3 is herosexual (what is commonly, but incorrectly, referred to as "bi").

I don't understand why that would bother anyone.  It's an elegant solution that costs almost no resources.

I think hoorayforicecream said it sufficiently.
