So my I've created a mage who soley uses Blood Magic/Anything to do with Blood. Not too shabby a character with Ancient Blood Magic installed.

I've created a staff using the Winterforge and I'm onto the final stage, choosing my projectile. There are a few I could use e.g. Blood I, Blood II, Blood Drain etc. I've tried them all out on the dummy that appears after selecting. My question is this, Are the names just names, or for example does the blood drain projectile actually replenish a small amount of the user's health? And is there a difference in the "Spirit Damage" i.e. one shows a black crystal on the selection screen and one shows purple.

Thanks.

The names are just representations of projectiles that the vanilla game uses for different spells, the blood drain projectile most probably being the projectile for drain life. It doesn't drain any health when used as a projectile for a staff.

The different colours for crystals are mere eye candy. Any crystal that has 'spirit' as it's type, will deal 'spirit damage'. The damage numbers will depend as usual in vanilla combat mechanics.

Thought so, thank s for the reply. Althouh the Blood Drain visual is none like any other spell in the game, there's an omitted spell perhaps?
