What is it for you?
For me, it's the decision on Frankleins moon.
The colony or it's spaceport?
Tough one that.
The Hardest choice in all ME games.

The hardest choice? Originally, whether to let Balak go, catch him, or kill him.
Now? Whether to play the games at all.

First ever playthrough of all three games?
Virmire survivor. Knowing someone was going to die based off that choice was hard. I sat there going back and forth between the names for a few minutes.

Probably Ashley and Kaidan on Virmire.
I swear I must have stared at the screen for a good 20 minutes before I made that choice. In the end I chose wisely though (and saved Kaidan).

It may seem really minor but it took me a while to decide whether or not to tell Garrus that me and Mordin sabotaged the genophage cure behind Wreav's back.

I really wanted to hang up on the Council but was trying to roleplay a professional. It was an impossible decision.

Geth vs. Quarians. I actually did not know that I could go for peace, something because I chose to rewrite, and there was no info on the net about it.
Sat there for 20 minutes, then read the net, then some more.. So I did something I do not remember (PTSD maybe?).. and then made peace with paragon choices after that.. That was a ride
Geth/Quarian conflict solution missions were the best for me. I am a Talimancer, and also I find the Geth to have gotten the most unjust fate. Almost made me cry when legion showed me "What did we do wrong?" in the consensus..

You mean, whether to romance her or not? I know what you mean! The depth of the character in that moment- choosing whether to follow her heart, or stick to her journalistic integrity, such powerful writing! I doubt I've ever seen the like before!

Absolutely this. I always end up saving them (damn my Paragon Shepard!!) but they turn out to be less than useless. They never come to the human race's aid (Mass Effect 2) but they fully expect Shepard to drop everything and help them when they need it (Mass Effect 3). Paragon or no, I always take the renegade responses when speaking to the Asari council rep right before Priority:Thessia.
(And don't even THINK that I didn't forget the fact that you decided to sit on the sidelines and only offered to share info about the Catalyst when YOUR homeworld was threatened, you blue-hued bovine.)
Sorry.
Anyway, apparently having a new council isn't that much of a step up either, so I've been told.

I kinda find the end choice pretty hard to make.
