On the subject of fanfic, it's a little crazy that this game prompted me to check and see if I could still remember the login to my ff.net acount.  I officially stepped out of fanfic almost 4 years ago due mostly to burning out on the people in the fandom, but it's awesome to see a creator and company officially support the whole deal (and nice again to have a world that is getting in the way of my original work with all sort of rabid plot ideas).

That is almost exactly my own situation, except I was out of fanfiction (well, writing at least) for almost 10 years. So the fact Dragon Age dragged me back into it to the extent that I'm half-forcing myself to do my original works before DA:O fics/art really says how addictive it is.

I'm more intrigued by the fact that the vast majority of those fics are nothing *but* sex scenes, from what I can gather by the blurbs.

But I think its really great that you keep up with the DA section on ff.com. Its nice to know that devs care that much about the thoughts and ideas of their gamers. Its no wonder Bioware is so successful in niche gaming.
