I could see a fic about Sten hanging up his sword and donning a baker's hat...

It shall be called... "Qunari Cookies".

He's already got more fanfics than any other non-romanceable party member.  Poor man.  I can't even print the transcript of the conversation where I told him that.

Oh, fine.  Sheryl sent me, like, four angry-face emoticons and some all-caps, so I guess I have to post it now...

Sten: Oh no. Not you again.

Me: You know you lurve me. Anyway, Sheryl sent me a link to a bunch of fanfiction about you!

Sten: Don't bother to tell me what that gibberish means. Just skip to the part about cat-girls so we can get this mockery over with.

Me:  Look! People are writing stories about you!

Sten: ...You don't follow directions very well, do you?

Me: Nope! So, what do you think?

Sten: I think you're an idiot.

Me: I meant about the fanfiction.

Sten: Yes, I know.

Me: Meanie.  Want me to read you some of them?

Sten: No.

Me: But they're all about you falling in love!

Sten:  This is the cat-girl thing again, isn't it?

Me: Pretty much, yeah.

Sten: Parshaara. Just tell them I hate them.

Me: ...You're going to wait until I leave and then read all these, aren't you?

Sten: I hate humans.

Alistair: Don't do it, Sten! I'm serious! You'll never recover!  My eyes still haven't uncrossed!

Oghren: ...Now I gotta see these things.

Good lord, that's beautiful and tragic.  lol.

Angst and pain = = good romance.

Well, from what she said, only if your idea of a good romance involves being chained in a basement, beaten, (eventually) strangled, and buried in a shallow grave.

Enchantment!  :wizard:

Yes, there's nothing romantic about the scenario in my mind. I imagine it would be very quick, very violent, and only undertaken as a way to get her out of his system.

Lol. I think people are taking me a little too seriously there. I forget sometimes that message boards don't get across the point as well as verbal conversations. I was being just a little facetious. When I look back and read now, it doesn't really look like it.

I guess that serves me right for typing with verbal inflection. ;)

LOL!  No problem.  There are a lot of people who seriously think Cullen's psychoticism is hot, though.

Because if you write fanfiction, which is one of the key topics of this subforum, fanfiction.net is the largest online depository for it.

Edit:  Captain Obvious, I'm surprised you had to ask!

L. M. A. O.  Be careful...EC fangirls will CUT YOU.  Over that comment. ;)  Trust me, I teach in a Jr. High and I've seen fights break out.

But yeah....the crazy stalker thing doesn't really do it for me either.  I just have an addiction to sarcasm and couldn't help myself.

LOL! I also teach in a Jr. High and boy is this ever the truth! It's calmed down a bit now that the movie has been out for a bit, but we had our share of Team Edward vs. Team Jacob wars.

My husband works with kids that age, but fortunately his batch think Twilight is so last year, now that they're 15 they're above all that silliness.

Kids are funny, watching how grown-up they think they are.

Lol, yeah, mine are starting to calm down about it now too.  Some are even starting to branch out into the realm of Anne Rice and Robert Jordan...I give them cookies and mounds of praise when I see them tackling things like that.

Hey you aren't spamming me. You are getting me though the day! I still think you should post it but that's me. :(

@Reuben - I'm ashamed. I STILL haven't finished that.

Can we just post fanfic in the forum here? Like I said, I don't have any accounts anywhere else...and I think I really like what I wrote today. I'd love some feedback.

Bloodlines? Heh, neither did I, but I blame the horrendous bugginess for that. Stupid chat loops. Still one of the most awesome games ever made though.
Bioware needs to pick up the title and make one for us.
