What is your favourite and least favourite romances in Mass Effect trilogy.

You can (sigh) include Bromances/sistermances if you so desire.

Your suggestions CAN include romances that didn't involve Commander Shepard.

Miranda Lawson (she tried to put a control chip in my head)
Jacob Taylor (umm. He went out with Bryn Cole instead)

1. Ashley Williams - Favourite LI and character since ME1. A bit dissapointing in ME3 though due to her deleted scenes
2. Miranda Lawson - Liked her alot in ME2, but her romance was very disappointing in ME3, unless she dies. 
3. Tali - Only character I'd romance other than Ash or Miranda. She's funny, and I like her voice.

-Worst-

1. Diana Allers - What a joke. LOL
2. Jack - Not into punks or girls with tattooes. Calls Miranda a cheerleader when she wears a belt as a bra?
3. Liara - Boring, and overrated. Hate her with a passion

Note: I dont play as female shepard ever, so I wont mention female romance options

Liara no matter what Bioware say she really is the canon LI, they put the most effort into her romance storyline.
Miranda, my personal favorite.

Worst
Ashley she's a **** and no effort was put into her romance in ME3.

Kaidan (with male Shepard - the only one I ever do)

Worst (incidentally):
Kelly Chambers and Diana Allers. "Call me Kelly" and "I might follow you home" No.
Liara T'Soni (They have a really good friendship arc but it doesn't work as a romance for me)
Steve Cortez (Rebound and dodgy dialogue, which comes across even worse if your LI is another man during the purgatory scene - be flirty despite LI or say you're straight when you're not)

Although I do like the Garrus/Tali romance if non-Shep ones count.

Ash has a good romance, even though I regret romancing her after the way she acted in 3. 

Liara has the best romance (obviously).

Here's my list based on personal opinion of the romances I completed.

1. Tali
2. Liara
3. Jack
4. Ashley
5. Miranda
Last. Jacob (never actually romanced him, but Great Scott Jacob! you do NOT ditch Cmdr. Shepard)

I'd say Jacob's is the most disappointing. Seriously, he dumps you and knocks up another chick when he was the only character in ME1/2 to actually say "I love you?" Really, really pathetic on Bioware's part. Not a lot of people liked/romanced Jacob, sure, but that's not an excuse to completely screw them over.

Garrus and Miranda were my favorites in ME2, but I think they overdid Garrus in ME3, while Miranda didn't get enough. ME1 is Ashley, hands down, and it's a pity it's the only way to get worthwhile dialogue out of her in ME3.

Honorable mention: Liara. I really like how she goes from Shepard's innocent fangirl in ME1 to her equal in terms of power and badassery in ME2/3. I like to see that kind of character progression, where former squadmates become independent and powerful entities who can match and even outclass Shepard. ME3 had a lot of opportunities to do this and bungled it up repeatedly, but that's ME3 for ya.

Worst: Liara...she was so overused by BW that she became annoying, immortal mary sue...She is the very example of wasted potential...

If they have, they probably haven't played the mission where you rescue the ex-cerberus team.

Gabby and Ken


As for romances with Shepard....comes down to personal taste, imho they feel all forced and inmature. The least worst are probably with Liara. Miranda was nice in ME2 but a total disappointment in ME3. But generelly, aside from sexy-time scene, LI treat you more reserved than if they'd be just friends. Heck, Grunt was probably the most warm greeting I got in ME3, one of the few who seemed genuinely happy to see me.
