I don't know. What if the red beam destroys the aquarium VI? Shepards fish will starve to death
VI's wouldn't be targeted, or else the Normandy wouldn't even be able to get off the ground.

Unless they used reaper tech to create it!
But you're right, of course (killing Glyph would completely ruin the destroy ending for me
)
Glyph is the unsung hero of the series. I hope it survives to see the next game, and it can become like R2D2.
In reality? Technically, it's within my authority to execute for insubordination in a wartime environment.
As a Spectre, and as the guy (the only guy) who will win the war, I basically have the authority to do what I please.
'Respect mah autoritay!
Heh. Whatever floats your boat.
At least she doesn't put Shepard's armor in a glass case and have it on display like its some trophy.
She also doesn't have the free access to Shepard's cabin ![]()

In a roundabout way, Glyph kinda does become the series' R2D2 in the Refuse ending.

In my playthroughs she does ![]()

I have a feeling that if Shepard started doing something like this, Joker would object, and EDI would probably help him should Shepard try to neutralize him as well. Shepard would really have no way to stop this other than to bark orders at Adams (provided he wasn't executed lol) or someone else to try and crack their way into the system. It's kind of funny how the only reason everyone is OK is because EDI likes you and considers her goals to be the same. If that ever changed, everyone on board would be screwed with no way to stop her.

Power fantasies float my boat.
"Sir, I'm afraid you've gone mad with power."
*sigh* Yeah, yeah, I know the drill. Left or right temple?
Eh, the thing is, I'm not really *going mad* with power, since I planned on being like that from the start.

There'd be a lot of repercussions to that type of behavior, but we're entering the realm of headcanon and power-fantasy here, so ... eh.

I guess, but I just think it would be amusing to imagine the adventures within the Normandy, with Shepard feebly trying to combat the ship's AI. I wouldn't be surprised if the ship was capable of erecting mass effect fields across entire decks, akin to sealing bulkheads should the ship suffer major hull breaches. You can't even get to the armory anymore because everything is connected by an elevator, which she can probably lock. In the Citadel DLC, we see that EDI is able to activate holographic drones. The fun never ends.

Yeah, you are very good with headcanon thing.

We also see the robot shutdown if you bring her to the Normandy. It regains itself, but has no control over the ship.

So you're saying Traynor doesn't come up to the cabin at all? She comes up 3 times in the game if you invite and romance her. How is that headcanon?

Depends on if you care about the repercussions or not as well.
Sure, there will be repercussions, just not one my Shepard would really give a damn about.
Bioware felt like it needed to remove Kelly simply to make room for their new "token" character. Samantha's presence made me feel like saving Kelly (and Gardner) from the Collector base was for nothing.

Well, you also saved Chakwas and the engineers, whom both can join you in ME3 (or not, if you desire).
And I like Traynor just fine, so ...
Oh, how I missed my cook/janitor... the sound of the name "Rupert" makes me chuckle.
Eh, Pressly also bit the dust in ME2. It happens.

Pressly had really only 1 or 2 conversations before he simply disappeared off the face of the game beyond the final mission where he plays the cliche'd skeptical officer. But yeah, I see your point.
I wish Shepard could've brought a 40 oz of ryncol to the planet to pour in honor of Pressly.

Pressly would never survive on Tuchanka...
Did anyone else here picture him as a Saul Tigh-style drunkard in his off-hours?Pressly would never survive on Tuchanka...
