I'm planning on doing a Traynor romance to see what it's like, I usually try to only romance Squaddies.
I was doing a Femshep Liara romance playthrough from ME1 to ME3 while staying faithful and I just cant get past Mars. It may be because I didn't like how that Shep's face imported but something about how she was in ME2 (I don't have LotSB DLC) just seemed off putting for me. She was threating people by flaying them and the whole scene was just wrong. I know she was trying to break away from the innocent Prothean expert personality that we saw in ME1 but it was too much. too fast.
I know that LotSB has a lot of content that may be essential to her character progression from ME1 to ME2 and even on to ME3, but I don't have it and so I just try to fill in the blanks with Youtube playthroughs on what happened to Liara between Shepard's Death and Resurrection.

This is like complaining about new players of ME wanting to talk about ME. lighten up.
F*** this, I'm gonna go replay ME2 and see just how much reach Garrus has."
You won't regret it. In ME3 he offers taking more missiles to the face just to have you back #truluv
Never got to play LotSB, I made the mistake of getting Leviathan instead,
LotSB is aloot of fun. If you haven't gotten DLCs because of their cost, I would look into torrenting them and learning to block ME's internet access through your firewall, it's worth it ![]()
Wait a minute, a correction. I love Kaidan, Garrus and Traynor equally but the Garrus-romance is the best one I have played in any BioWare game.
I feel that way, too. I thought Alistair/Fenris/Anders in DA were such good romances, but then after playing ME for the first time, Garrus's romance totally took the cake. I watched nearly all of the youtube vids for every other FemShep romance, and I haven't been tempted to a non-Garrus playthrough yet. I am a lost cause lol.
The Garrus romance has always been the most fulfilling one for my Shepard, it's hard to romance anyone else. Everytime I try to make a maleshep to romance my favorite female characters I'm turned away by his voice acting.
No one:
Miranda - sex time, where is bedroom?
Garrus and Kaiden - wtf am i doing?
Thane - im crying, let's sex
Jack - im lonely and angry, let's ****
Jacob - im black, suck it!
Liara - i have never done this, let's try
Tali - i have scale itch, better use antibiotics
Allers - more war assets?, please me first!
Ashley - you believe in god Shepard?
Cortet - lost my previous husband, need replacement ASAP or im not gono survive the crash!
Kelly - can i feed your fishes?
Samara - sry Shepard but you are not good enough for MILF
Morinth - want orgasm of your lifetime Shepard?
LMAO!!
Best FemShep Romance:
1) Liara
Best Male Shepard Romance:
1) Tie between Ashley & Miranda. I really liked Miranda in ME2 but Bioware screwed us in ME3 - such a waste of potential
2) Liara
Worst Romance: Allers, Jacob (I might have forgiven "The Prize" if he hadn't dumped me and knocked up some scientist), Morinth
Best Non-Shep Romance:
1) Garrus & Tali
2) Ken & Gabby
Romance Wish:
1) Gianna Parasini
2) Emily Wong
Best
1. Liara. (If only for the drama and the fact it makes the most sense by the end of ME3)
2. Jack.
3. Tali.
Wish
Aria
Hetro Traynor
Shiala
Chakwas
Parasini
Kasumi
Imaginary
Kaiden and Ashley
Adams and Chakwas
Liara and Javik
Grunt and Jack. (Oh man what a sh*t storm)
Best
"It's always been you Ash"

The Ahsley romance is also part of 2 of the greatest ME tribute vids.
Both are made by Genol3oost.

I romanced Tali, Liara and Miranda before.
But i can't call them "worst".
All i can say since ME3 came out despite being beautiful romances i only continued each one of these once.
Now i can't play a ME trilogy playthrough without Ashley as L.I.
If it was purely based on ME2 i'll have to say Jack.
She raped my Shepard and it didn't feel like a romance at all.
But ME3 showed me if Shep loves Jack she actually loves him back.
So if i have to pick one i'll choose Jacob as worst romance based on other gamers their experience.
Since i never played ME3 as femshep.
Femshep already has fewer romance and she's the one getting dumped?
So yeah, Jacob is the worst.
Jack raped Shep???
WHAT???
I interpreted that relationship exactly the other way around. I mean for God's sake man, she keeps telling you 'no' and Shep just goes 'but.. YES!! I don't care about your tears, woman!'
I don't see it either of those ways. She comes up, wants to be with you, but she's scared.
Liara's mind-melds strike me as infinitely more depraved.
Yeah because she does that without your permission.
Oh wait no, she doesn't,
Jack raped Shep???

Wait just been talking to my real life LI.
She told me Jack does have a romance in ME2
It seems i was referring to the casual sex scene.

best was samantha traynor
but dont know who was the worst
@psych
You have to push Jack she's not the type to say "ok yay I love you too let's get married" some people push others away to see if they'll leave and if they do leave they rarely get a second chance.
Nice guys finish last with some people.

Excellent

At least we can be grateful that BW didn't work in a totally gratuitous renegade action to rape anyone....
If by some fluke of the universe, BioWare suddenly lost a sizable portion of their faculties and was somehow permitted to put it in, the swift and painful backlash from fans and the media alike would probably cause irreparable harm to their reputation.

Well...
There was that one time...

Okay, so it's not a rape button, but still. Implications unpleasant.
Well.....I should go.
Anyway, I don't think it's really fair to list each romance from "best to worst", as I think everyone likes them each for different reasons. Even characters I'm not crazy about usually have one or two things about their romances I like. I mean... I'm not a Liaramancer (I do have a playthrough where I romanced her, just not any of my main Shepards), but come on you guys! Little blue babies! That's adorable!

I do think Garrus and Tali definitely have some of the better written romances, though I also think a LOT of that is owed to the fact that they get a lot of screentime. I'm definitely not a fan of how some love interests got seriously shelved in ME3, because what is there is pretty good. Miranda, Jack, Thane, and Traynor definitely stand out, and it's a shame they don't get the same level of love as Garrus, Tali and Liara.

Really? I don't think Garrus's romance was handled very well, the dialogue wasn't very interesting and the lack of sexual tension in the first game turned me off to it.
All the love they gave Liara couldn't save that horrible dialogue or it's forced feel.
Honestly, FemShep!Kaidan made the most sense to me. It had ups and downs, hurt feelings and jadedness. As someone who just came off of a relationship, it feels. ManShep!Ash had it's moments, but Ash's writing staff dropped the ball with her.

The vast number of people who romanced Garrus (myself included, on my primary FemShep) might disagree.
And Kaiden and Ashley's romances don't do anything for me. As I said above, everyone likes different romances for different reasons. I just think it's silly to make a list of best to worst when the whole point isn't about measuring which one is the best, it's about picking which one you like, or the one that matches your Shepard if you're Role Playing it.
