Honestly. How many of you use it?

Personally I don't see the point. You can carry 6 medigels and have 3 more from Responder loadout. You can medigel once each wave. Not counting Ops packs that save your ass.

The only use of it comes in Collector games and even then not very often. If it was introduced early in the game or in the demo when everyone had 2 gels...

If MT had unlimited or much greater range - would you use it more?

It was most likely created as an attempt to combat revive chains.

Even as a Volus I find other gear options much more useful for my personal survival, so I could use Shield Boost on my team and PREVENT them from dying in the first place.

never tried it, never will

It is useless IMO

it might be handy if you were able to heal others from a distance without having to be "dead" yourself.
only time it would seem useful would be platinum hack wave 10 if everyone drops together

not worth it when there are so many much better options available

Pretty much. There are a lot of obvious better choices. Especially extra shields/weapon damage.

I want to be a cool team guy and use it, but the lobby is never bad enough to warrant me putting it on.

If it had a much bigger range, I would die on purpose to rez all my teammates at once rather than going for revives.

And how many times per game it comes in handy? More handy than extra shields/damage? And how many times the team acts smart and lets you rez them? Unless you always use your mic.

I've seen it being used less than 5 times since it was introduced and only once did a player revive others with it.

Admittedly, the situations where it can help are situations where it's very useful, but for those situations to come up often enough to be a gear worth skipping out on others, you either have to be playing with extremely terrible players or mass suiciding on purpose.

It's more a gesture of good will than anything. But getting a couple of people up instantly can be beneficial.

I've used it once. Eh there is better gear to put on than that.

It only comes in handy on hacks or escorts vs Collectors. Usually the team is scattered around and makes MT useless.

It's useless. If I could revive people without dying it would have some use, but even then I doubt I'd use it.

I use it occasionally, and the few times I do bring it with me, it ends up being a good idea, if at least to get some meat shields up when i decide to gel and no one else will.

Imagine a world where people aren't as good as you are, and it isn't hard to imagine why people would use it.

I don't think it is particularly useful in its current state. Nonetheless, I use it on occasion when I want to have fun playing the medic.

Yep.

Actually the old FBWGG probably would've been good for it. :P
