it's very useful on infiltrators or team-centric characters.

ex.) Volus, Asari Justicar, Drell (actually any of them, chances are you're going to go down a couple of times)

Only when I Kroguard.

Actually, I have used it during all Volus UUP games before.

The question is - do you take extra nades for a Drell or do you take MTR? For me the choice is obvious. And for Justicar I will go for extra shields, biotic damage or weapons damage.

Extra Grenades are nice, but I don't find them necessary to be honest.

On the Justicar, I somewhat agree, since my build lacks a little shielding. But I guess since my playstyle involves staying around the team most of the time, and others have different styles, I guess it's up for individual interpretation.

Bioware probably made it for the volus medics that would play with friends. Not their best idea.

It would be more useful if it was with gels + ops.

Why equip MGT on a volus? Volus should prevent team wipes with shieldboost, not heal them after the fact.

Hasn't Bioware said the volus were created to be support (and failed at that with the bug +creating the eng)? MT is that. If the volus fail and the team dies, he uses a gel and saves everyone.

I think that was their (not bright) idea.

This is very true in principal however in my experience very few know how to play the volus, for the most part he has been a libality in games I have run, not always but often, some pugs seem to get it right but it's a real crap shoot

I will speak for most people here

I don't use it because I am selfish and would rather boost my own damage output.

I can play team medic in pugs and still be on the right side of the grass and in most pugs my damage output has to make up for the lack of others, not all but many.

I always equip it with my Volus when I play gold matches. It has saved the team time and time again. Also if I do go down, and somebody dies trying to revive me I hit my medigel.

The last time I used it somebody blew up an abomination with 15 seconds left in the extraction, taking all 4 of us down. Hit it and we go the full extraction bonus.

I've found that it can be very useful on Gold/Plat.  When something goes horribly wrong it can be a godsend to get everyone up at once, makes it harder for all of the mobs to all focus on one person.

The 30m radius or the level V does really reach quite far.  Just think, the flamer only reaches 10m (15m with the evolution), and this is three (two) times that distance.  On small maps it can make a large difference, as well when the group is holding a position and things go sideways.

I like using the Medigel Transmitter on my Geth Engineer (with a defensive turret), makes me feel like a truly helpful medic.

I think Medigel Transmitter would be much more useful if its effect also apply when you revive a teammate.

Ha ! It would be too much powerful ! :)

More like this :
- When you use a medigel, revive all teammates in the range, with the actual 30m (full health on Bronze, 3 health on Silver, 2 on Gold and 1 on Platinum if I'm right).
- When you revive a teammate, revive all teammates in the same range (and the same limits).

But I'm agree with you : the actual limit is good but it's not enough when pugs go far far away in gold... :pinched:
