When it all boils down to it...

Bioware made the game they wanted to make. Fans here (whether it's a "majority", "vocal minority", the number and proportion is largely irrelevant) didn't like it. Believe it or not... that kinda happens. OFTEN.

Ya didn't like it. In fact, you hated it so much it that it upset you (although I take people to task for saying "violated" or "hurt" in such a fashion; it tells me you don't understand the true definition of either). That's... okay. It really is.

It's also okay to be disappointed in the person who produced the product you didn't like. It's also okay to not invest your time and money in products that disappointed you. It's okay to extend your opinion of its poor quality wherever you wish.

But to expect apologies or some sort of reparations is absurd. Come on... have we REALLY reached a level of over-inflated self-worth that we think every wrong is a result of some sort of malice that REQUIRES an apology from the "offending party?" We really can't take a step back and say, "Well, THAT sucked. No, no... it's no one's fault. Just unfortunate. **** happens."

Because that's what we have. Honestly. Seriously. You can trust me on this one. No one at Bioware tried to hurt you. Or "violate" you. They made a game, man. A game they thought you'd like. **** happens, man. It'll be okay. Walk away. You don't have to forget. You don't have to forgive. But you don't have to keep beating yourself up, either. Because the guys you trying to bleed an apology from don't have anything to apologize for. At this point... it's your problem to deal with.

I'm unconvinced they did. As for the rest of it, unlike some, I don't want an apology. I do however want a discussion with the developers featuring justifications for their lines of thinking. There's some questionable decisions they've made and I like hearing other perspectives on them.

What stops me from asking for it? I made no demands. I never said the word 'needs'. And why did you invoke the 'vocal minority' argument? The only thing I can get from your post is that you're trying to pick a fight.

They aren't going to discuss it with you, they aren't changing the ending, they aren't addressing the ending anymore. They have said as much dozens of times. 

What don't you get?

This year old borefest serves one purpose, and it's not asking for discussion. Its stomping your feet over and over and over because you aren't getting what you want....and you won't. That is the only reason people are ignoring BioWare when they say they aren't addressing the minorities cries.

So how long are you going to stomp for? Or is it time to grow up?

Why is it that pro-enders always sound like bullies? 

No.  EC was the bare minimum, which addressed #s 40-48 of fifty things wrong with ME3. Bioware better hope they lure in lots of casual gamers to replace the fans they've driven away.

You must have me mistaken for somebody else. I have never wanted the endings changed. So I guess what I don't get is: What exactly are you trying to dissuade me from? If there's no discussion to be had, why are you still here?

Am I the only one thinking this is an odd reaction to asking for a discussion?
