or we worry not about Banshee because we`ve known her for so long.


Anyway.. since we`ve got Banshee mission again it might be helpful.

The best way of killing Banshee must be team work.
Team with well designed tech combo(using Snap freeze) + Biotic explosion can melt down
Gold Banshee within 10 seconds or less.

Other best settings.. involve non-stop high DPS.
Destroyer is generally not recommended.. because the risk of being grabbed is simply too great compared to other kits.
Turian Soldier has fairly better mobility with amazing DPS & crowd control tool.

Probably the best damage dealer would be infamous Turian Ghost.. since he has top mobility + possibly ignore all banshee`s DoT attack using stim pack. Properly setted Ghost probably can take down single Gold banshee within 20 seconds himself easily.

Other good options involve Flamer combined with Acolyte / Reegar.  Works great against entire reaper faction.
Warp + Incendinary ammo works great too.

For low experienced players, using Acolyte combined with Dark channel + Reave will bring them A LOT of assist points from banshee.

Nuking spawn points will be great way of getting Banshee points.. since they stay there for loooong time.

All Krogan/Batarian kits & Melee builds & Vanguards...  be careful not to be greedy and ruin the game for the team.


If well played.. this challenge can probably be done in 1~2 gold games. Probably few more games in Bronze / Silver. (Not considering solo)

So.. unless you want to sit down for few hours, planning for this week`s operation will be a good idea.

My volus will chew through her knee caps! But in all seriousness get her to walk and she's a sitting duck. Dot before you run so she doesn't get her barriers back. Batarian soldier is great (for me) bring an acolyte.

I've killed so many banshees in my time I don't think it matters what I'm equipped with. I'm prepared for anything and everything. Acolyte/Hurricane baby.

P.S I played a game today with a Tallgeese on xbox 360. It was Collector/Glacier Hazard/Gold. I was the Asari Valkyrie. If that was you I'm terribly sorry because while the game was playable my internet decided to s**t itself.

Yeah, a good tech combo and biotic team can make Banshees for breakfast. A Valkyrie with a reegar and incendiary ammo can take the Banshee down quick too. I think I'll take my TGI back out for a gold solo just to get this challenge out of the way quickly. Besides, I haven't used him since the stim pack nerf. Lol.

Well, I find my Turian Sentinel works pretty well. I have a 0/6/6/6/6 build with it. Overload works well against the Banshee's shields, then I use Warp to weaken the armor. I generally switch to my Arc Pistol with the barrel/piercing mods to do as much damage as I can individually to the its health.

That's just me though.

Banshees have tactical cloak, thats all.
but seriously, yes it happens constantly to us all.

you can still use most powers on them and target them, but you cant charge.

  Asari huntress. One of the best Banshee killers out there, throw dark channel and walk away, usually it's enough to kill her, especially if you have power amplification gear and consumables. To speed up the process, either use a reegar or acolyte to strip her barriers first.

I think there is another famous Tallgese in Xbox. I play on PS3.

Anyway, I just played  a PUG game against Gold Reaper, where at one point everybody got grabbed by Banshee but me(not that they were bad but it happens).
I finished the wave, but totally underestimated Marauders and got killed by them 3 times. Embarassing~~
Man.. Maurader + Ravager can kill you fast... real fast...

There are many great and safe way to deal with banshee, but you probably don`t want to take too much time if you want to get that 20000 points ASAP. Gold Banshee is worth about 1500-2000 point each.. so kick them when you can.

I don't mean when they go invisible.They, very rarely, will vanish and not show up on the killfeed.

Maybe not the best way, but the coolest way is a Falcon Punch to the uterus....Banshees ain't the only ones good with thier hands!!

My experience: Dark Chanel/Warp combo, you can detonate them and bring her barrier and armor to half. Shoot her a little with warp or incendiary ammo and repeat the combo, and forget about her, both powers have lasting damage so she will die of exposure

Just remember to keep your distance so she doesn't grab you and dodge her warp, is lethal.

Talk her to bed, the resulting shock if having slept with [species/gender] will be more than enough to whittle down her barriers. If your good maybe some if her armor.

DEATH BY SNUU SNUU!!

I'll prolly utilize my Huntress. Not for Snuu snuu, but the tac cloak dark channel mix with warp ammo in, oh, I dunno, prolly the CAR. I'm not a huge fan of the mainstream weapons. <.<

Acolyte'll prolly be utilized to bust theit barriers down.

FQE if it's a techy group. Acolyte, some sort of SMG that has some accuracy beyond 30 meters with her, incindiary ammo, I figure. Armor bust'n stuff.

I'll prolly pug it, too.
