 As opposed to Cryo Blast?

Snap Freeze and then Havoc Strike to make a Cryo Explosion, would of been a good combo. What would you think of him with Snap Freeze?

Why does the Havoc have Cryo Blast, was Cryo Blast supposed to setup a CE on chilled targets, like Snap Freeze?

I think that power would be perfect for him and sync so well with his other powers. If he had snap freeze I would def consider speccing into havoc strike

I've been saying this since day one. He should have Snap Freeze instead, broken or not.

Cryo Blast should set up a CE on protected targets imo.

Though as it stands, not even Snap Freeze is supposed to be doing it.

He's frontline assault, snap freeze would have made a hell of a lot more sense than cryo blast. Dunno what was being smoked that day when this kit was thought up, but it must have been epic.

I personally think snap freeze doesn't really fit the HS since I find his havoc strike more suitable as a mid to long range attack (at least I play him that way) and thus synergize better with cryo blast, since has a bigger reach compared to snap freeze. It all boils down to everyone's play style, I suppose.

He would be much stronger. but also even more vanguard looking than now since he would be CQC biased

Cryo Blast/Incinerate = Long Range (Low Risk, Low Reward)
Snap Freeze/Flamer = Short Range (High Risk, High Reward)

He should have incinerate or overload or something else that MAKES SENSE WITH HAVOC STRIKE. Though I have started to like cryo blast WHEN IT ISN'T DODGED. Hm, or maybe energy drain even. That would be nice for getting some shields back.

Snap freeze would be a lot better on him. I would definitely use him a lot more.

Let's make a kit with charge that doesn't give you shields back, a debuff that gets dodged oh and he can turn grenades into 4k shields. Yep that must have been a serious bong-hitting day.

I would actually think about specing into that. Everytime I level up my Havoc, I spec out of Cryo Blast. Cryo Blast has no business being on a soldier.

Well Cryo Blast is mainly a debuff power. I suppose you're right about it having no business, but with the debuff I can kill stuff quickly.
