Do you prefer independent, mysterious or nice girly girls?

And she's smart and tells TIM to go eat a d!ck at the end of ME2. classic Miri.
In real life I like women submissive. Their easier to control and manipulate thus making your life simpler.
But I feel in love with a tough, dark, mysterious, independent, smart and sexy as hell woman.
So..... I have no idea, lol.

I saw one weird girl with such hairstyle. Those were not usual dreadlocks, but something very similiar to Liara's tentacles
Sorry!

I don't know what you are talking about OP
Yeah, that also has all reasons to exist, actually. I think Kelly Chambers is into it.

When role-playing, it completely depends on the other person and the character I'm playing.

I fancy people were a openly independent and have something of an edge. Her cocky attitude was rather appealing, even if you occasionally want to ring her neck for the Cerberus boasting. From a character perspective, I liked how her vulnerability began to show but did not distract her from the objective. Very confident character with a lot of internal turmoil.

I can't talk about the others you listed as "submissive", but Tali reacts the way she does, because Shepard saved her life (at least once), defended her in front of the most important representatives of her people (and in my case, preserving her father's reputation) and played a significant part in giving her entire species their homeworld back, concluding an endeavor that began centuries ago. So yeah, how emotionally weak is she for falling for that ol' playboy.
The mask adds to her overall mystery, and she barely ever cares to talk about herself unless directly asked... whereas for example Miranda is all over you with her tragic past, whether you like it or not. She may not show it off as the tough girl, but she can when it's required - see the alley ambush, Freedom's Progress, the trial... Because it's merely an aspect of her personality, not it's definition.
I may be overreacting, but I just hate this stigmatization of women, who are not openly cold or aggressive, getting this subtle label of being "boring" or "weak".
I'm not even a "Talimancer", because it doesn't fit my Shep's character. She just represents a strong and likeable, thus attractive female for me as a person. Thanks, Mr. Weekes.

In real life, intelligence is the biggest issue for me. I'm well beyond average intelligence, and I get bored with people who can't keep up. Area of expertise doesn't matter int he least. My degree is in engineering and I've always had a fondness for weird things about physics. The girl I had the biggest crush on in high school was one of the most talented musicians in our 3600 student, 10th-12th grade high school. Just being able to think on a higher level is what matters.

I also liked Ashley in ME1. Haven't had her as an LI in ME3 yet. Can't get over her...makeover...ugh.
Miranda was my first LI in any game (you can tell where my real life preferences/situation are/is with this one). But after reading about the ME3 carry over, I don't think it will be very rewarding.

Anyway Miranda is my favorite character and Morrigian is my favorite character in DA I don't know if there is any correlation there.

But it varies from game to game. In Origins, I usually go with Leliana because I don't like Morrigan. Leliana wouldn't have been my first choice if there was another female option besides Morrigan. In DA2 I prefer Isabela, although I am a bit hesitant in fear of catching an STD... or several.
