I've never understood the appeal of insipidness.

Are you talking about the thread, saying it's insipid? Were you vaguely answering the OP?

Ashley all the way for me, with Jack as runner-up. Nothing sexier than a woman who can kick ass.

When you say sensitive, do you mean a spineless doormat who lives only to serve his mistress or a guy with the emotional depth to cry at the end of Toy Story 3?

For my male Shepard: Ashley. No questions asked.

For my female Shepard: Kaidan. Dat ASS! :D

As for the kind of personality I would be interested in? A Paragade M3!Sheploo. Dry witted, sarcastic, doesn't mind trolling the f*ck out of people for laughs on rare occasion (See the infamous drunk Ashley scene :P). Basically a kick-ass, courageous guy that treats everyone with respect, inspires loyalty and is a freaking softie under all that armour. Also, wouldn't hurt if he looked a little like him too. (Yes, I'm a chick.)

I prefer awesome, like Gianna Parasini. She wasn't mysterious except as it pertained to her job, she wasn't a suck-up, and she was tough without seeming like she was compensating for something.

She was awesome.

How kind of you, I feel it's not what's on the outside to which we should judge others; like the way one looks or even their gender. It's what people are like on the inside, their soul or spirit is what's most important in each of us.

Passion is nice wherever you find it. Character matters, not race or gender.

That's all true and is a very good attitude to have, but at the same time, we all develop preferences.

Like for sexual orientation. I'm into women, and only women.

I also strongly prefer caucasian women, with dark brown hair or (real) golden blonde hair, blue eyes, and is competent and strong woman.

I also have a certain threshold of beauty. I won't date a girl that weighs more than me for example. Or is within 20 lbs. of my weight on the lower end (unless she is REALLY physically fit).

No one is the same. We all have our preferences, and in some cases we have our dealbreakers.

Or at least, I'm like that.

Depending on your sexual orientation, gender DOES matter.

Good, more for me then. Posted Image In all seriousness though, it's a good thing we have different tastes! It makes connections more special, because they are more rare or personal.

Why does so mane guys want submissive women?
Do you really want some housewife who cooks, cleans, give birth and spread her legs when ever you are in the mood? The rest of the time she just does what you tell her.... Posted Image
Note: I have no problem with stay at home moms. But those aren't what I am refering to. You can be at home with the kids and still have a spine.

The same reason why so many women want to be told what to do - because all people are different. Majority of women are more predisposed to be passive and submissive physiologically, psychologically and culturally (human history and evolution made the mark). Yet, this predesposition is not defining at all as there are a LOT of strong women we all love. There is no such thing as right or wrong behaviour in women or men, everyone is different and we should respect that.
