Do you prefer independent, mysterious or nice girly girls?

First, sorry but I'm not into girls.
I once romanced Liara but thought her personality was too childish/negative for me...as well as Asari look female, and as a heterosexual female myself I don't really find that attractive. I liked Aria more, but would have preferred Asari to look mono-gendered (no ******). Other Asari creeped me out with the touching thing...Shiala and Shi'ira, just ick, keep your hands to yourself.
However your comment on did we romance characters that we find attractive in real life...well that one is interesting. Yes, I did. Garrus and Thane. Maybe I don't RPG as much as I should!
Sorry, but a monogendered mamal needs ******. Only thing that could be changed is size.
More to the point, removing ****** would completely negate the reason for their existence in the game.

This applies to both LIs and non-LIs.

There are three easily identifiable kinds of females in Mass Effect trilogy. Independent authority-seeking women (Miranda, Ashley, Jack), mysterious (Kasumi, Samara) and more girly, submissive (those who accept male as undisputed leader) kind of women who almost worship Shepard (Liara, Tali, Kelly,Diana Allers is bad). What kind do you prefer to romance in ME trilogy and is the same with your real life expectations?
What kind of men do you prefer if you are into them?
How is being submissive girly and nice? And since they treat FemShep the same way as MaleShep, your whole agrument falls. They accept Shepard as a leader, not gender.

I romanced Viconia in Baldurs Gate, Bastila in KotoR, Silk Fox in Jade Empire, Leliana in DA, Isabela in DA2 and Liara in Mass Effect.
I don't think these characters have anything in common.

Nah... Uhm. Where on earth do you people get the "submissive to Shep because he's a man" vibe?
I don't think I got that anywhere in the game? If I remember correctly pretty much everyone voiced disagreement and plainly stated their oppinions to him from time to time.
Obviously Shepard had the authority that comes with rank and being the leader of the group, but that is how it should be in that situation right? Afterall if any of the other characters were thought to be better leaders than Shepard they would have been given the overall mission.
EDIT: I romanced Tali. Geekyness is a major plus for me. To me she seemed rather well balanced considering her somewhat young age, but being young at heart (not necessarily age per say) is also a plus.
Conversely I certainly didn't see Jack as independent. Being alone alot doesn't mean functioning successfully or thriving. I'd say that getting herself throwing into jail for, presumably, life absolutely shows she failed at being independent. She only manages to make any headway in dealing with her past as part of a group.

One would think that my 31 years of age would have changed me for the better. Instead I've come full circle and ended up with: As long as they put out...

Apparently some people forget Shepard can be female too.

There is that as well. I can only really roleplay with maleshep (call it limited imagination), but I didn't get the vibe there either.

Liara is my absolute favorite because she's so realistic and has the ability to question herself. Ashley is realistic but she doesn't seem that intelligent because she's so hellbent on her own ideas and beliefs.

Liara is too much teacher/professor-like after ME1
Jack is a boor and I don't like shaved women or woman covered with tatoos
Samara is the milf, too old for me.
Miranda is the type of ****-woman which you can meet in every disco. After she has ****ed with a man, she jumps in the bed of the next one or betrays him with his best friend.

Whenever I see a post like this, I can feel my brain cells ritualistically cannibalizing each other.
The very least you could do is be accurate with your attacks.

Well the last part is only wrong or betrayal if they were in a monogamous relationship. And, while that is up on some societal piedestal, it is not for everyone.
