I don't even know. Not particularly bothered as they weren't that great of a lobby anyways, but I'm still curious as to why. Happened yesterday, btw.

I joined the lobby, kitted up on some level 3 consumables after I saw everyone else had them on, PPR X and stuff. We ran through one U/U/G (clocktorz/jade) fairly smoothly, sub-20 minutes although I did get the 15 revives medal not halfway in. I went after objectives, but we mainly got hacks so it's not like I could've concievably not done them anyways, missiled when I had to and so on and so forth. I didn't pay attention to the score but my name was at the top so it's not like they could've thought I was leeching or something. Or maybe they did.

So... The moment we get back to the lobby I get kicked within all of 2 whole seconds.

What's up with that? They think I was leeching? They were two harrier Ghosts and a Krogan (I think KSol, don't remember) so it's not like I was screwing up their biosplosions, and I didn't have any screenshake powers. And I was basically playing medic the entire time, although one of the Ghosts seemed pretty damn reluctant to revive me this one time when he was standing right on top of me. Almost medigelled before he finally decided to notice me. So it's not like they thought I wasn't reviving or anything. And of course I always use medigel when I have to.

Anyways it's not like they're on BSN or anything (I don't think so, anyways) but something stand out to you that would've made you guys kick?

yesterday I got kicked because I showed up in lobby with Drell inf rocking a collector sniper rifle (using all consumables). next match i scored 110k with this setup. go figure...

If you outscore people by too much they can be left feeling useless, people don't like that.

I'd suggest they were in a party together, and had a fourth buddy come online, and were
kicking you to clear room for him.

If you take it personally you need a lil' perspective.

Possible, still wanted to check if it was anything I was doing though. Good to see that doesn't appear to be the case.

as honest as i am i have never been kicked from a game, also perhaps they had a friend ready to join and they were all ready to deploy the boot

I got kicked after a game because I scored 215k points. As I saw 2 kicks came up I jumped on the mic and asked: Why?

Bothering yourself with the "why" of being kicked is as pointless as equipping an SMG amp for your sniper rifle.

I've seen an unusual amount of those players of late.

I got kicked trice... Once for unknown reasons, another due to misunderstanding (I thought 'inviting a friend' meant one person... oh well), and then there was this one time I was kicked, because the host didn't want to play with an asari... So, his friend and him kicked me...

But I would never kick! I once played with an N7 1 host on Gold, and attempted to help them! Well, we died in wave three... but I tried! I was sick that day, though...

In fact, the only reason I ever kicked someone was them not readying back in the day when everyone had to be green to start the match! And since I'm awkwardly shy at asking peeps in my buddy list to play with me, I never had the whole 'making room for a friend' problem, but I know others would kick a stranger to get a friend on board.

I guess the easiest way is to simply ask, it's very rare I get kicked in randoms but it does happen.

My last game of the night I played a random gold, two were, IMHO pretty new to the game but it's all good, I make objectives a top priority, I will medi you if you are close and it won't cost me my life, just give me a second to kill that enemy on top of you and I will medi you right away. If on extraction you head to the LZ and die, which happens often, that is your problem, I am not going to join you until I have to however feel free to come to where I am. If killing is more important to you than helping the team with objectives, you drop to the bottom of the list of priority on the team to help, if I sense you are trying, I will have your back no matter what and will push my abilities to the max to protect you, I think that kind of sums up my general random play style.

Anyhow this gold lobby last night, they wanted to kick a 4th that joined, I suspect the weapon but at least he put on a level one ammo mod, I would not kick and yes the other two had mic's, I simply said hey guys, I will help XXXXXXX, we will be fine, let him play, they did and the guy stuck with me and did pretty damn good.

On extraction it was Ghost, two went to the LZ, I went to the back room farthest from the LZ as did my new random friend, the two could not hold the LZ, few randoms can it's just asking for death, anyhow at 30 seconds we made our way back, I had to use a couple of rockets to clear a path, myself and the new guy were the only two extracted, he came in with the bottom score but who cares, he tried.....anyhow this morning I see I have the following message, I remember this GT as being the host.

go #uck yourself, useless #unt, you $$hole...that noob should have been kicked

My response - nothing....I really don't care, I will continue helping newer players, this crap doen't bother me at all, I will go to the recently played and simply mark that GT as someone I want to avoid.

A bunch of n00bs that I smack talked over mic tried to kick me but I left the lobby after the 2nd [ x] appeared.

Apparently, people don't like being told to not stand behind a javelin user, spamming biotic slash like its going out of style.

Kick that fast usually means making room for someone else....although when we do that, the lead usually makes the room private first so that another random can't join and keep our 4th out.

I'll tell you a secret: In PUGs I kick whoever's name that begins with K, B, or F.

In my experience most people don't have the courtesy to simply ask a pug to leave when making room for a friend.
