I want to use the Winter Forge just to add stats to my gear.
However, I have no idea how to do this.
Can anyone inform me about this?
Thanks in advance.

Presuming you've installed the Winter Forge.
Go to skills, and click on the icon that looks like a chain, this brings up a series of menus, choose to turn on the cheat mode.
Now open up the Forgesmith Tools (Found in your inventory) and you will see an icon that looks like a padlock, click on it and it will bring up a menu to select the weapon or armour you wish to customise.
The first set of icons are for the actual property (choosing it and applying it) the second set is for adding the value of that property (if one is available) or for removing other properties, just have a play around and you'll pick it up in no time.

Not at all, let me know if you run into any problems, pretty easy to work out though.
