I'm very invested in Fallout 3/New Vegas and Alan Wake but emotionally Mass Effect is unchallenged.
What other series have you been as emotionally invested in as in ME?

Alan Wake is interesting but I couldn't say I was ever emotionally invested at all. For me it was nothing but seeking to beat the game, not indirectly live an avatar's life in-game as with such as ME and DE.

Fallout series, I like reading it's wikia of the history of Fallout and playing it. I liked how you played as your from birth, I found that really funny. Star Wars the old republic era. Deus Ex was a really interesting game. And the Sims

Chrono series (Trigger and Cross), Skies of Arcadia...but none compare to the ME series
