Will {what I liked most in the first hour of DA:O, DA2} come back for DA:I?

I mean, character creation.

I spent hours in different playthroughs to have the "right mouth" or the "right nose" in DA:O and DA2 (and Mass Effect as well!).
We know that they will use a new engine for this one and the game might be beautiful.
But I'm a little bit worried here: will this engine still enables character creation?

I have been reading a lot of (temporary) answers from Bioware for a lot of topics, but nothing about CC.
If I'm wrong correct me and if I'm right, would you please give us some news about it?

Come on, admit it. You mean Exaggerated Bethany, right?

But seriously ... what does CC mean? Content Creation? Close Combat? Crowd Control?

I think it's likely that CC will return. I don't see why the developers would disregard the CC.

I'm sure it will do. I do spend a long time creating my PC to my liking.

I also hope that there will be a similar DLC like the Black Emporium, because until I got that, I must have re-started DA2 about 3 times before I was happy with my Hawke!

I can't imagine they'd scrap character creation. Even back in NWN we got to select from a wide assortment of heads, and then import any character portrait we wanted.

OH!  Duh.  Sorry, I think my blond roots are showing.

I don't see how they could create a game without it, honestly.  Each iteration builds on the last.  Technology (both hardware and method theory) improve every year.  So why wouldn't they?

I would lavish a lot of time on CC in Origins. I just never got grips with it in DA2 as i would end up with faces that looked to much like Leliana or Cassandra. At that point i just gave up on it and went with default Female Hawke.

I really enjoy the CC part of the game as well. I feel pretty confident that the devs will hold onto it. I believe they may have mentioned something about adding more customization options as well, though I'm not sure what they might have meant by that. Hopefully they will share more about that when they're closer to realeasing the game.

Can't imagine it without character creation lol.
I wonder if they would bring back multiple voice over choices.
I remember spending ages in Origins getting the character just right, and just sticking to default Hawke in DA2 because I couldn't get a face that sounded right with the voice...

I spend far too long in character creator lol, that mirror of transformation in DA2 was a life saver!

But anyway, I would imagine that the CC will return, since personalising our own protagonist(s) is important to a lot of Dragon Age/BioWare fans.

CC is pretty much a major reason why I play BioWare games. I can't see why they would abandon the idea.

One thing I hope is that the default character won't have unique hair or something. I disliked that they got hair and beard that the common CC can't acomplish. Also, I want some new features.

I'm positive CC will be returning because it'd be a hilariously stupid step backwards if it didn't, though I always found making a guy who doesn't look like a doofus very difficult in either engine. I was eternally grateful for the Emporium DLC in DA 2, since my (eventually) handsome guy really didn't look good as a blonde and I have no idea what I was thinking when I chose that color.

I think it would be a mistake not to be included and it would seriously turn me off the game.

First hour of Dragon Age 2 literally looked like Sh*t.

I do not mean to declare this in as trollesque and unconstructive way as it might initially sound. It's just that it literally did. Them brown steaming  mountains of Ferelden.  If EA were to release Digestion Simulator 2013, feces in it would look less like sh¨*t than 1st hour of Dragon Age 2 does. Just saying.

Come to think of it, Dragon Age 2 as a whole would propably remain closest thing to digestion simulator even after the release of a game titled Digestion Simulator 2013.

I think this topic is about character creation.

I know it's a touch OT, sorry:p
It is also the 1st thing that comes to my mind upon calmly meditating on " first hour of DA2" so it isn't entirely irrelevant to title of this thread at least!

Once I figured out toolsetting in DAO I was always tinkering with my wardens, rarely happy till they were 'just so'. I bought the SE edition of DA2 so i always had the Mirror to go to but the options in DA2 are so limited compared to what you can do in the toolset. Fortunately for me, the clever gamers here released tons of mods containing new hair, textures, colors, eyes and skins/makeup.

Then my problem became "What do I choose for this lady/guy" this time...

One hour sometimes isn't enough...
