GethSol with max fort and Flamer, PPR and Acolyte. No HM.

In fact in the best GethSol builds, its the one power always taken...


One of my go to kits for carrying/fast games/solos etc.

Are you asking if we have seen people use it or not use it?

I think basically everyone I have ever played with had Fortification on. One exception is a buddy that had a Level 1 Trooper. He had Flamer rank 1.

Fortification has great synergy with Flamer. Together with the bonuses from Hunter Mode, the Geth Soldier' Flamer can melt any enemy quickly.

I run a 6/6/6/5/3 build and it's pretty effective.

I've never built the Trooper without max Fortification.

Haha I did that in one of the plat games we played. Kept wondering why it was taking so long to kill stuff using Flamer.

I max out everything except hunter mode. The Trooper doesn't really need it, as with fortification, his flamer is already more powerful than the vorcha's. If you want ultimate flamer power, then you would go with the traditional power build on him. Having a tanky geth is awesome.

I use it all the time on my GS. I dont use flamer at all. I just go max weapons damage all the way and full fitness/shields + full armor for DR + HM maxed out for weapons damage. Then because im not using powers i can slap on two really beefed up guns with any mod i want regardless of weight, coz cooldown doesn't matter. The GS is a steamroller

Do you also us a Demolisher with no ammo beacon?

I turn it on for protection, and I dont use the AI thingy, It makes me a tanky geth and flame thrower is just as noob friendly as it was with it.

It never makes sense to skip Fortification on the GS. If you're running a Flamer build, you want the 30% damage boost. If you're running a build without Flamer, well, you either spec into Fort or leave 21 points unassigned. It's not a hard call.

Sencon is a weapons platform specced for durability and recharge with HM specced for all bottom evos.

I didn't pick Eye Disruption mode at all, chose Fortification instead. Now my geth is shiny and cool!

IMO fortification should be in all builds

skip HM for awesome flames or
skip flamer for Geth weapons build

unwise to skip fortification
