I have a question, do we need to make the transparency around the edges of the banner manually or will you guys do it?
I would suggest leaving it solid. It's always easier to remove something than to try and add something that isn't there. For them it would be a quick edit to apply a transparent border anyway.

Good point. Suppose you can always submit two versions as long as they're not a particularly large filesize (the bitmap is only 256K).Xenmir wrote...

One banner entry per person per emailkaileena_sands wrote...
Did we get 100% clear on the part whether we can submit one or multiple banners?
Each entrant may enter the Contest one (1) time during the Contest
Period. Submissions received from any person or email address in excess
of the stated limit will be void.

Thanks! I was confused since people first asked Bryan if one can submit several banners in one e-mail and he said yes, then he said he got mistaken and said no and finally someone said that it could be yes again so I got super confused.

I asked about that on page 3 but I was never told otherwise. (see below)

Can we enter multiple banners?
Wait the rules say
?????????LimitationsEach
entrant may enter the Contest one (1) time during the Contest Period.
Submissions received from any person or email address in excess of the
stated limit will be void. Submissions generated by script, macro or
other automated means are void.
Thanks I will double check on that one, have editted my post in the meantime
Sorry for the misinformation it is indeed 1 entry per person
Maybe it's just me but this still sounds a little inaccurate. "Each entrant may enter the contest one time", ie: email their entry once. You cannot send in multiple emails but what if that single email has multiple banners attached? Why else would they add in, "Email your submissions along with your full name, birthdate..."
If we are able to submit more than one image, and if I'm not reading it wrong, I just wish it didn't have to be limited to the one selected challenge. "...and the name of the Mass Effect 3 multiplayer challenge that inspired your artwork..."

Which is the collective 'submissions' in this instance; everyones' submissions to this address. It's Legalese, very confusing.Xenmir wrote...

Community designed banners... great... but fix the damn "Best of the Best" banner on N7HQ -- you shouldn't force the 80% majority to have a femshep banner.

Perhaps, but in this case when directed at an individual and their individual entry, it is their 'submission'. It's not like without the 's' it would have been an improper sentence. Like I said, it could have been just me misreading it but because of the written Legalese format, it's better to ask and be certain than to assume. I'd hate for people to submit multiple entries and be disqualified and conversely, be able to have multiple submissions in one email yet be confused and not take full advantage of the opportunity.

First off - congrats, BroJo, on an awesome suggestion! Nice to see it taking off.
Secondly, from someone not artistically talented -- somebody PLEASE make a Council Operative banner with a Turian and enter it? Pweeeeeeease? With a cherry on top!
I can't enter my own submissions, because my country is not allowed. Someone make this please!
I will try my best. I want to see this done, too.

I'm working on the weapon masteries, and since my first one already breaks the colour-scheme/pattern of the original ones, I'm thinking of making a set. I feel it makes more sense than submitting only one, and hoping they pick similar ones from other people.
Any feedback?
