upload the jpeg/png or whatever you saved the image as to a website like this

www.tinypic.com
or
www.imageshack.us

and it will give you a few different codes, one being for forums. It will have [img] [/img*] (without the asterisk) on either side of the link.

Damn, that's strange. I think you and I had the same idea at the same time. Just finished a couple version of an Anderson Earth banner.

@Cheez - not everybody is an art student, and I feel more confident with combining screenshots.

You don't have to be an art student to draw pretty pictures.

The photomanips look great, though.  Now I've gotta figure out how to make something just as good, only by hand.  Argh, dug myself into a hole, here.

last time I drew something by hand, I was very proud of myself, but now when I look at it, it's not that good. That's why I went the easy path and shopped my entry.

my hand drawings are at pasieka17.deviantart.com. I even promised one guy that I'll draw him some of those.

These aren't bad at all.  I think you could get awesome if you practiced some more.  Do you ever draw from life?

Seriously, though, I wonder how many hand-drawn entries are going to get submitted.  Would original art look out of place when the rest of the banners are digital images?

Good luck on that. Used to draw a lot when I had ideas then I got a block and I haven't  drawn seriously for I dunno 5 years?

You got your work cut out on that aswell. These photomanipulations are extremely good.
