I'm not getting FF13. They lost me with 12. It just wasn't FF to me controlling just one character. I like controlling my whole party like FF1-10...

...FFXII is almost exactly like Dragon Age: Origins, except FFXII's gambit system is superior.  And you do control all your characters, putting in your gambits is your way of controlling your character without repeating tedious commands for your whole party.  Or you can just turn off gambits and you can 'control your whole party' like in the previous FFs.  Its battle system was very flexible and allowed you to play out your battles exactly how you wanted to.

Some people don't even know what they're playing.  No wonder FFXIII's gameplay is considered average, Square ignored the new directions in gameplay that they experimented with in FFXII and went back to the boring old formula that made FFX a bore to play battle wise.

RtO was released for the XBOX 360 yesterday... It was also pulled yesterday. Apparently the core game needed an update to run RtO and this update messed up some of the stats.

So the PS3 DLC delay may be to our advantage after all!!!

Personally loved FFX and FFXII, the one I could not stand was FFX-2 I still have nightmares, that is the ONLY FF game I NEVER finished. FFX was great with the ability to switch characters in and out as needed, which was nice kept levels between main and secondary group characters balanced. FFXII loved the gambit system, when you got it right. just like DA:O tactics, have to get them right for them to work correctly.

and White Knight would hve been in my console already if they would have released it some months ago. it's too bad Level 5 delayed it so long to get all the Japanese DLC on the US disc. not sure I myself will be getting it for some time. between DA:O Demons Souls, and then FFXIII not sure if I will have time to squeeze it in between it's release day and FFXIII's.

I think great time for PS3 RPG's J or W.

Let's not bring Final Fantasy into a DA:O thread, please!

Rumors for the delay are they are fixing issues with the specialization locking and adding in things that should have been patched already like the dex problem. If we get lucky, we might have it in a week or two. I hope... I wanna play my elven rogue without dying on NORMAL.

Wait, you mean they're going to integrate the patch into the DLC itself?

Wouldn't that sort of be like blackmailing the players to download their DLC if they want a fully functional game rather than the current bug-filled half-functional piece-of-crap now?

Jeez ...

Bias, you'll still be able to get any patches whether or not you buy any DLC. It'll just be included in the DLC as a convenience for those who buy it, and will be available seperately for free for those who don't buy the DLC.

As I understand on the XBOX there was a update to the game core as well as the DLC.
