If sabotage is too out of character, then warp would be completely in character, but, still, I want sabotage.
Not gonna happen, but it's what I want.

She really would be awesome though lol. Arush + Reave haha.
Replace Reave with Singularity and you might be on to something though...

Salarians don't need a new engineer. They need the original one fixed. But the odds of Bioware making pets useful again are pretty slim in my opinion. One can always hope, however.

1 trillion times NO. Singularity is the "racial power" of human adepts in multiplayer and it should remain that way.

3x No.
If we get a new Adept, it should have Singularity, Reave or a completely new power. Or do you want another Wurp Durp caster? Look at me, i can haz fireglitch.

And Salarian engineers rock. What're you talking about.
I think it would be nice to have a powerful tech class though, damage-dealing wise. The human engineer is pretty good if specc'd right.
Cyberwarfare ability. A 'hack' that hampers enemies; it passes from enemy to enemy like dark channel. It primes enemies for tech explosions, of course. It could give a small fire dot, a brief freeze effect, a sabotage effect; or maybe even a random tech effect.
Or it could be a passive ability, like annihilation field. Enemies that get near you take a one-time small amount of damage, maybe a bit less than Hacking does, and their weapons jam. Maybe a placeable drone that does this.
A high-damage turret like what Cerberus has might be interesting; maybe make it so it overheats unless you keep cooling it off or 'reloading' it, and you can repair it. Repairing it can 'repair' the shields or armor(health) of your friends too, if they're nearby. It could be a temporary high-damage ability, but that's not as interesting as the possibility of having a slightly more semi-permanent sort of turret.
As it is the only 'power house' engineer we have is the demolisher, and she's severely limited by having to depend on grenade drops; and further gimped when they decreased the grenade and ammo drop rate - not to mention, didn't they reduce the boosts it gives?

That turret concept is interesting, though it sounds as if it might require too much upkeep for it to see much use unless repairing would give you some sort of DR or shield boost, and it also sounds as if it might just be easier to do a Cerby-style turret that drop functionally the same as the pylon.

Biotic powers keep getting added; tech powers aren't being added, except for new types of grenades and pets. Too many combat-oriented tech abilities if you ask me. If you want to keep playing paladin and salarian engineer, be my guest. I would personally appreciate something a little different.
The reason I was talking about reloading this cerberus-inspired turret is to balance it, and make it tactical. A turret with real suppressive power would be nice to have.
Well, they could always make it a grenade power, like they did with stims. Then they could give it 3000 more health and/or shields than a regular turret, as well as reasonable suppressive force. Perhaps. If it regenerates on its own, or could be healed, that might be useful.
My other ideas were more interesting though, honestly. Rather than outright copying annihilation field, the PC becomes a sort of walking turret - the engineer is enabled to CC in more ways than one. That "one" way being pets.
Of course at this point most regulars are probably the type that don't even think too much of the RPG aspect, having a character that fits you, or experimenting. All this talk of 'you have to spec this way, or taht way, with this or the other character'. No one just trying to have fun. It's no wonder you don't have any interest in new characters.

Find me a teaser preview of a MP DLC showcasing just one character.
The Krogan in the picture has a shotgun collapsed and attached to their back. As NPCs do not holster weapons, then it is a teaser picture for one of two things;
1) Playable character in Multiplayer
2) Playable character or companion for single player story

Beyond that, another Geth would be cool. I can't see what else would make more sense than a Sentinel though.
