 Hi peps,

i know these topics come up alot, so im sorry

im looking for some people with on xbox. from reading bsn i hear that people have  a  much better time when not pug ing. so i want in! im up for whatever be it biotic death squads or picknmix groups, what ever really, its all good.

Edit: I see you haven't started gold yet but don't let that hold you back, I run with a large group of very helpful players from BSN that will make your transition far easier, we really don't care what kit or weapon you run, just have fun.

You know, I've waited a long time to try playing with people from bsn. Time to throw in the towel and join up if anyone's willing to add me. Have mic, will travel.

GT is same as bsn name. Xbox manifest is left part of my sig. I am a regular Gold player who is hoping to move to Platinum at some point.

I am curious, well by nature......would you share why you think people hold back from joining BSN players? I have often wondered, is it pressure because they post here, confidence....etc.

I held back in asking for Plat friends but when I played silver way back, the first thing I did was come here, man it has made the learning curve so much faster, I find the majority are great people and excellent players and anything goes and what I lean by that, play what you want, whatever level, we have theme runs, pug lotteries, training sessions etc.

Anyhow if you care to share your thoughts, I would be interested.

His GT has a space between the names.

As for Scotish accent......My grandmother is from Scotland, mom has an accent but born here in Canada...I never picked the accent up although some friends from here say I have one:)

The only time I find it hard to understand you guys is Friday nights if we are all into the sociables, funny as hell though:)

Honsetly, for the longest time I was pretty sure I sucked at this game. ME3MP depends so much on the team dynamic working well that I was worried I'd be holding people back, and I did not want to do that. I built my manifest on mostly Silver games because that was my comfort zone. After many failed Gold matches I'd often just go back to Silvers because I could complete those. Over time I learned that Silver can only teach Silver, it cannot teach Gold. It's only been post-Retailiation that I've felt confident enough in my skills to move to Gold regularly, where I discovered that it's not so scary once you learn it, and that i was even pretty good at it after a few tries.

As for BSN players, this place is a great resource, but it's also more than a little intimidating. I guess I held back because I felt I had nothing to contribute. The differences between difficulties are so large that it can be pretty discouraging to come on BSN and read about people who argue not about how to complete a mission, but about efficient speedruns and spawn-bombing, things that are alien to myself and many players out there. There was/is always that fear that, as a player, you're not good enough, that if you join up with BSNers, they'll be annoyedly trying to revive your dead body while they chop whatever foe into mincemeat without much trouble at all.

And I still have that fear. But I'm willing to try now.

tl/dr: I held back on trying to join up with BSNers because I felt I was crap at this game and wouldn't have anything to contribute.

GT: MordredMoridin I prefer to host (I have a good connection), I will probably be available this afternoon (EST time zone) and I am on most nights late night/early morning. Thank you for your reply, I highly doubt you ever sucked at the game, we are all at different points of the learning curve, majority of us honestly receive a big reward helping others.

Your second comment, how could BSN members change that, sure there are some that could be intimidating, ones for example maybe those who run Plat with a Volus.....I too would wonder how I would measure up in game to their skill, but a few weeks/months ago I decided, I am what I am, comfortable with what I can do, if they do not want to run with someone of my skills then I suspect they will delete me, hasn't happened so I guess it's all good:)

Anyhow look forward to running with you, I have been meeting a lot of BSN people in pugs this week, played with three new to me last night in gold, my god it was fun, young lady that posts on BSN was sporting a Drell and BW, good god that girl can snipe and one of the best Drell players I have run with....love those games seeing others abilities with kits I struggle with.
