i just played the second worstest kit in the game... the saboteur. i used a mattock 10 since even the harrier 10 works on the nadir, q-marksman.

using the saboteur was abysmal. i skipped out of nades and sat around throwing the sentry pellet gun into crowds along with sabogarbaging all the tougher geth. what a joke of a kit. this was on gold and i got my gold kills and assists medal... i was doing it right, it's just that this is the most truly second worstest most useless character of all!!!

what would be cool is if the opponents of the "worstest kits" could all get together in a game and play. i'd love to play a the "worstest kits", volsent or vunter while others played the q-marksman, saboteur and... wow! i can't even think of the third worstest because nothing comes close to how bad the q-marksman and saboteur are. the voldept and phoenix vanguard are bad but can't compare with the two worstest.

zyzimorph... you're spot on with the first two but c'mon, really, saboteur is not interesting and is just plain bad. to be honest, saboteur would be most effective skipping out of turret, nades and sabogarbage so one could focus on just kicking ass via headshots with a harrier.

...Except if we're doing that, there's better options, like... Every Soldier and infiltrator in the entire game, for instance.

exactly! hence saboteur is the second most truly worstest most useless character of all!!! but one would optimize him by using none of his powers (wasting time / energy) and focusing on headshots with a harrier 10 or 3. just like how i ramp up my level 8 characters when i continue to stay in top 1% by constantly promoting (puffy, hairless chest and slightly squinted eye with bloated belly covered by large shirt).

a decent weapon with incendiary ammo makes homeslice good to go.

i like it with the ppr and incendiary ammo.  homing nades on big baddies. toss out sentry for S's&G's and sabotage for the back fire. good times.

Has the defenition of Synergy completely changed since their release or are people just that ignornat to how they play exactly like every other character who can combo powers? I'm with op, The volus merc is worst for power damage, however that not his purpose. Being annoying to the enemy and helpful to the group is what he does and does pretty well.

Sabotage tech burst virtually never works due to coding errors. This is true of most tech bursts in the game, actually, but it's especially noticable for this one.

Strangely enough, but when I put crappy Incisor on crappy Turian Engineer and did it with disruptor ammo, I got a really strong headshot-support machine capable of scoring 120k plus with over 75 kills on Geth/Cerberus and even Collectors!

What really annoys me, is the fact that when you kill with sabotage, it doesn't fit to any type of kills (tech kills it should be), so I don't receive bonuses for it.

For me the worst class is the Krogan Shaman. I am sorry, but a kit meant to rock in CQC with only a Barrier as a support... is really annoying. I melee much better with vanilla Human Adept and plus Singularity awesomeness.

Sabo + Homing and the tech burst is the perfect amount of damage to kill a dragoon on silver, and it happens every time I see one coming at me, so I really don't notice what your talking about at all, and the kill feed always says the tech busrt kills them.  So I'll need some definitive proof before I belive that, cause its certainly not a problem on my end of things.

you and the dude above... did you read op's response, meaning did you read the thread and see what op wrote? doubt it. i did and i followed his suggestion and it sucked. and if i did it with a harrier 10 (or other decent weapon), i would have kicked even moar ass but compared to all the other kits in the game, the q-marksman would still be... drum roll...

saber, argus... all assault rifles. completed the challenge 3 times. i'm good with them and whichever one i used, saboteur is still the second most truly worstest most useless character of all!!!

Worst class imo the volus sentinel. Ok he's good at support and distracting, but that's boring. As far as straight up effectiveness then, the turian saboteur is pretty lacking

uhaveaface : why's the QM so bad really. I mean once marksmans active, the stability of the weapons are fine so the turian stability passives effect performance very little. Can't remember what the turian weapon damage passives amount to, but probably not a large difference between them I'd guess. And the turian soldiers proxy mine debuff does not last as long as tac scan and also isn't as good at debuffing either. And turians can't dodge. And throwing 3 points in sabotage can make taking out geth and Cerberus turrets easier. So really, I'm not seeing why the turian soldier isn't worse:blink: wait wot? Did I really say that?

There is no useless character in this game, some kits are worse than others of course but they can all be used effectively with patience and with a good combination of weapons/power specs/consumables.

IMO people just don't make the effort to seriously use the most underrated classes in the game, they see on BSN that whatever character is bad by popular opinion, they try it once (often with a bad setup), do horribly with it and that's the confirmation for them.

So what, Saboteur, Volus sentinel ? Yeah they're probably among the weakest characters but still the game offers enough options to use them effectively, if not I wouldn't be able to score above 100000 with the Volus sentinel on gold while still providing a good amount of support with shield boost and wouldn't top the scoreboard with 150000+ points so often with my Saboteur on the same difficulty.

It's not like I'm super good or these scores are supposed to be impressive either, but it's just to say that all characters can be made to work and that none deserves to be branded as useless. It just takes time to figure out what works best with characters that have obvious limitations, how to counter them and how to take advantage of the few good things they have.

speced right, TC then DC can kill a phantom on gold. And a TC warp can hit 3000 damage. So I takes a bit longer to pull off but deffinetly does the damage. But is often chose for the ease to solo gold by using TC DC. And then you can use warp ammo to really hit home. 

Tip:Huntress TC does not increase weapon damage.
